Dr. Zelenko said the whole treatment costs only $20 over a period of 5 days with 100% success. He defines success as “Not to die.” A separate study by the National Institute of Health showed that Zinc supplementation decreases the morbidity of lower respiratory tract infection in pediatric patients in the developing world. Rudy Giuliani's anecdotal bullshit has no more credibility than collodial silver & other snake oil & fish tank cleaner home remedies... If you want to claim you value "truth" on this website, try publishing reports of treatments that are supported by FDA regulated clinical trials..
They take to long. Doctors are already using hydro whatever for treatment. Lots of them say it works. Use your brain and don't rely on authority figures.

FDA is not micromanaging individual treatments by the licensed doctors. It is quite common and legal for doctors to prescribe more than one medicine at the same time. (I take five medications in a combination for something else) This "cocktail" seems to be a very reasonable combination. First drug is approved in USA since 1955, used for treating malaria, rheumatic disease and arthritis, the antibiotic is necessary for more serious cases of coronavirus present in lungs as they are accompanied by dangerous opportunistic bacterial infections, zinc sulfate is a recommended dietary supplement available over the counter and used in antiviral therapies. I would not hesitate to use all those three on myself in case of need.
The are not proven efficacious against CORVID-19. No doubt you'd use fish tank cleaner too, because it's well known, inexpensive and approved for cleaning fish tanks...
That's precisely why I reject Dr. Vladimir Zelenko's anecdotal claims & insist on scientific, statistically valid clinical studies....

I cannot warrant for this doctor, I know next to nothing about him, but I know that in other countries they had good results with those drugs. Solid clinical studies take long time, the epidemic will not wait. Smart doctors need to improvise. They cannot just do noting.

Thank you. I did not want to argue, I just wanted to point to the already existing drugs that can mitigate the disease. I use the word "mitigate" because the cure is not invented yet. But in many diseases mitigation can save lives. I knew about these three, because I watch medical sites in a few languages. Seems that hydroxychloroquine is a favorite (before chloroquine and quinine) for many professionals across the globe. About coupling it with well chosen antibiotic, there is a virtual consensus. Zinc is generally believed to be helpful during viral infection, and there are no special risk, since it is a beneficial dietary supplement. Of course it is better to have a good doctor around, since individual bodies differ one from another, and there are stages in this sickness.
