Does anyone know anything about Pete ? He posted last in December. He made some mention of undergoing chemo. I sure hope he is OK. If anyone knows, let us know !!!
Am hoping the remission lasts forever Pete. I can honestly say you been one of the most well respected posters I've ever had the pleasure of conversing with.
My thoughts about religion are fairly close to yours, but am praying for your healing anyways because it cant hurt, and its pretty much all i can do as far as i know.

Also a job you wouldn't want to push off on me if your life meant anything to you. I am terrified of heights. I get dizzy looking down and want to jump.
And as I get older, that claustrophobia gets worse and worse...lol. But yeah, I am no fan of heights. Usedta go hauling butt up that 32-foot ladder, no problem. Not these days...MUD
The funny part is I knew I was afraid of heights from the time I was a small kid,and figured becoming a paratrooper would be the way to beat it.
Little did I know there is NOTHING people who are afraid of heights want to do more than jump.
Going on or coming back from missions in VN,I would be sitting in the door opening on a slick with my feet hanging outside,and get fascinated by looking at the jungle passing below,and start leaning forward without even thinking of it. Every time this happened one of the yards sitting behind me would grab my rucksack and pull me back up straight and "break the spell". I would turn around to look,and they would all be smiling at me and laughing. So much for THAT being a secret.
