Does anyone know anything about Pete ? He posted last in December. He made some mention of undergoing chemo. I sure hope he is OK. If anyone knows, let us know !!!
Had two heart operations,and while in the hospital recovering from the second one,I discovered I had Stage 4 Lymphoma. Got massive does of chemo that pretty much fried my memory,but as slowly starting to get better now,and am in remission. Sooner or later it will return,so I go in for a Pet scan every couple of months.
Pretty much stayed away because I couldn't deal with the arguing and had a hard time even forming thoughts,which was and is about as frustrating as anything I can imagine.
I can still lose track of my train of thought as I am typing it,though. I stop right in the middle of a sentence sometimes and don't have a freaking clue what the point I was trying to make was.
I have Stage 4 Lymphoma,which is related to Agent Orange. It is now in remission,but there is no getting rid of it. It WILL return,and when it does all they can do is give me a pill to help ease the pain. Could be tomorrow,could be years from now. There is no way of telling.
The good news is that at my age death is not the BFD it would be if I were 50-60 years younger. Frankly,nobody is more surprised than me that I lived this long.
Probably because I outlived most of the ones that used to whine at me.
It damn sure didn't have anything to do with careful planning,eating right,exercising,not doing drugs,not drinking,not chasing wild wimmins,etc,etc,etc. I did all that,and more.
The way I see it,I am so far ahead of this game it's too late for cancer to show up.
