A growing number of Republicans are privately warning of increasing fears of a total wipeout in 2020: House, Senate, and White House.

Why it matters: All of this is unfolding while the economy still looks strong, and before public impeachment proceedings have officially begun.

•House Republicans in swing districts are retiring at a very fast pace, especially in the suburbs of Texas and elsewhere. (Republicans talk grimly of the "Texodus.") Rep. Greg Walden — the top Republican on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and the only Republican in Oregon's congressional delegation — yesterday shocked the party by becoming the 19th GOP House member to not seek re-election.

•The Republican Senate majority, once considered relatively safe, suddenly looks in serious jeopardy. Democrats are raising more money, and polling better, than Republican incumbents in battleground after battleground. •President Trump trails every major Democratic candidate nationally and in swing states — and his favorable ratings remain well under 50%.

The biggest recent change is Republicans' increasingly precarious hold on the Senate.

•National Journal's Josh Kraushaar writes in his "Against the Grain" column that "the pathway for a narrow Democratic takeover of the upper chamber is looking clearer than ever": "If Trump doesn’t win a second term, Democrats only need to net three seats to win back the majority."

Scott Reed, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce senior political strategist, tells me that third-quarter fundraising reports showing three Republican senators being out-raised by Democratic challengers (in Arizona, Iowa and Maine) "are a three-alarm fire."

•"The party was shaken by that," Reed said. "We're all worried."

•The well-funded Chamber started TV ads in Arizona last week, launches an ad today in Maine, and will add a third state next week.

•That's the earliest the group has ever gone on the air: Ads typically begin after Thanksgiving or New Year's.

•"We have to spend early because the climate stinks," Reed said. "All these incumbent senators have terrible job approvals and terrible favorables."

•But Reed thinks Trump has a better than 50-50 chance of hanging on: "He's still wildly popular in the middle of the country."

Between the lines: Across the board, struggling Republican Senate campaigns are more concerned about lousy fundraising than they are with poor polling.

•Republican strategists and campaign staffers said that with the polarization of the Trump era, key House and Senate races will depend even more than usual on the presidential race.

I cannot and will not believe that the majority of Americans would hand over complete control of the USA to a gaggle of pansy communist bastards! Most Republicans are lily-livered cowardly assholes. These communist bastards will NEVER take control of America without Washington DC resembling Madrid in 1940 after Franco trounced the hell out of Russia's puppet government.

We, the Americans who have paid the bills, will not sit idly by watching the news on television that report the destruction of this nation and it being pounded into the shape of Venezuela, et al. If they take control we'll see many Cubans vacationing HERE. Goodbye house, goodbye IRA, goodbye happiness and HELLO desolation and crying ourselves to sleep!

This story appears to be more fear-inducing mis-direction... Commie bastards?? Nope.

Luciferian Globalists? Absolutely.

These "Americans" are not our daddy's and grand-pappy's "Americans." In their defense, they never had to deal with constant programming and mind-control and the distractions.

Like Islam, "Global Warming," and "Toxic Masculinity," Communists are just a tool/threat and ultimately, means to an End.

Now whether that script actually plays out is another story...

The more disciplined army usually wins on the battlefield when the odds are close.

Look at the Republicans. For the first two years of Trump's administration, they controlled everything. Republicans have had the Supreme Court continuously since 1969. They held the White House. They held the House and the Senate, and they held over 30 of 50 state houses.

All of those years the Republicans wrung their hands and said "Oh, if we ONLY had power, but the Democrats..."

But then, even Harry Reid destroyed the filibuster. Literally NOTHING could stop the Republicans, except the Republicans.

And they did. For the rank and file - working people - voted in Donald Trump, but the party of the rich wanted Romney or Jeb or, well, anybody but Trump.

And so, with all of the power, the Republican House and the Senate did NOTHING for two years other than pass the tax cuts they wanted, and protect Mueller's investigation against any sort of discipline or control.

As a reward, they lost the House. Since then, Republicans have spent a lot of time going weak in the knees when Trump is attacked.

We very well could get a re-elected Trump with a fully Democrat Congress.

The Democrats are often observed behaving like lunatics, but when they do it, they are disciplined lunatics. They don't break message. They may fight with each other, but they close ranks and stay on message. Always.

The Republican Party is often defended on LF against my accusation that they have controlled the Supreme Court since 1969, GAVE us Roe out of a court they controlled, EXTENDED Roe in Casey through a court they controlled, PROTECTED Obamacare (and its mandatory public funding of abortion) through John Roberts' sudden switch. The LF Republican crew tells me that judges are difficult to control, etc., etc. And yet, DEMOCRAT judges NEVER break ranks like Republicans do so often. Democrats who want to be judges are subjected to litmus tests, and they stay the course - they always do.

This is the key difference between the parties: Democrats have a core belief set, and they truly believe it, and they maintain tight discipline, and they move as a team. Republicans are the gaggle of pansies who go off on their own, who do not uphold the team, or the values, who play every man for themselves. If there is pounding to do, the Democrats behave a whole lot more like Franco - grimly disciplined, never retreating, never surrendering. The Republicans are the flighty ones, with the Benedict Arnolds in their ranks.

I can't be a Republican, because I don't respect them. I don't respect them because they're treacherous - they lie about their intentions, and they are undisciplined. I respect the Democrats' political skills and discipline - they are MUCH more effective and serious about doing what they say than Republicans are. I can't be a Democrat because I don't want what they want.
