This past Christmas at a social gathering of some former high school classmates I had a brief conversation with an old friend, a liberal—I still have one liberal friend, but he’s about the only one left. Aware of my positions on issues, and, yes, having actually read a few of the columns and essays I’ve written over the years, my friend—let’s call him Dave—enjoys needling me as a “conspiracy theorist.” And at that event he was at it again. I don’t mind his banter, and, in a jocular fashion, I hand it right back at him. This past Christmas Dave was all exercised about some of my pieces on “the Deep State,” and insisted that such discussion was nothing more than “right-wing talking points,” “conspiratorial exaggerations about legitimate government,” and, basically, much ado about nothing. The Deep State he explained, did not really exist—rather, I was “making it all up,” and that my criticism was actually misdirected at noble professionals who had dedicated their lives and careers to what he termed “the betterment of all Americans.” How dare I attack those hard-working men and women who actually “made this country work!” [I am quoting his words, as I distinctly remember them.] I don’t think my conversation that isolated in today’s America. But I also believe that the more zealous and frenzied the opposition to President Trump becomes, the more the reality of the Deep State has also become. As I have written previously, the election of the “great disruptor” has forced the administrative and managerial elites, fearful of losing their power and influence, increasingly out of the closet into the open. Indeed, Donald Trump, with all his bluster and unorthodox (according to Washington DC) manner of doing and saying things, has torn the mask off, at least partially, of the permanent, largely faceless bureaucratic class that has for so long dominated this country…and our lives. But until recently, a full admission of this from the agents of the Deep State was unthinkable. The narrative was exactly that of my friend Dave: those upright and dedicated bureaucrats and experts, in government and in think tanks, were simply doing their job as professionals…but now that uncouth and ignorant “bull-in-a-china-shop” Donald Trump had attacked them, and he was thus “endangering our democracy” because of it. Speaking, as it were, for most of the major media, Glenn Carle, a former CIA “clandestine services officer and an expert on national security,” called the very idea of a Deep State a “dark conspiracy.” Joined by other members of our intelligence agencies, he declared in May 2017: The president has cast doubt on proven truths, undermined the laws, undermined the judiciary, the free press, the intelligence community…He’s undermined the very values upon which this society was built. So, what do you do if you’re an intelligence official? …This dilemma…has been widely discussed among those in the intelligence community, who have been forced to assess which is the greater threat: Trump’s “authoritarian tendencies” which threaten “the fabric of the nation,” or the clear national-security risks posed by a sustained stream of classified information being made public….”When leaks come from the intelligence community, it’s not to undermine the president or to protect the deep state. It’s to protect democracy — it stems from a sense of profound patriotism,” Carle said. “The deep state does not exist in fact but it exists in the minds of Trump supporters…” Talk about “projection”! Protecting democracy—by undermining it?…when for decades this country (as most of the nations in Europe) has been virtually ruled and governed by an unelected, untouchable caste of managers whose vision increasingly centers on a universalist globalism in which the citizens of the American republic will have become mere cogs: do your work, pay taxes, but shut up and don’t ask questions about “things that don’t concern you,” like running this country. But now that symbol and beacon of the American Establishment, The New York Times, has come full circle: yes, the Deep State DOES indeed exist, it asserts, but that is actually a “good thing,” good for you and good for the country. Perhaps the insistent talk by the president and increasingly by some conservatives forced the Times out from the shadows? Here was the headline of the Times editorial on October 20, 2019: “They Are Not the Resistance. They Are Not a Cabal. They Are Public Servants.” Ironically, this admission/defense by “the Grey Lady” comes just a few days after a major Leftist columnist and contributing editor to Rolling Stone, Matt Taibbi, blew the whistle on his fellow bedfellows. In a major essay—curiously not heralded on Fox and ignored by such media as CNN and MSNBC—Taibbi, no friend at all to President Trump or his policies, suggested that his friends on the frenetic Left “might soon wish they just waited to vote their way out of the Trump era,” and that, indeed, we ARE living through an attempted “coup” against the president and his agenda, that we are watching an hysterical effort to negate and undo the results of the 2016 election by any means. Taibbi wishes to see the president gone, but he also sees that what is happening before us in Congress, in the press, and in academia, is worse, far more damaging and dangerous to the survival of the American republic than the perceived infractions or lese-majeste’ of Donald Trump. The consequences of what the Left, the Democrats, and Never Trumpers are attempting and inciting are, in fact, driving a poisonous and violent stake into what is left of the republic. I pass on a slightly-edited copy of Taibbi essay. Notice near the beginning as he writes about our divided country, he intimates that “we are speeding toward a situation when someone in one of these camps refuses to obey a major decree, arrest order, or court decision, at which point Americans will get to experience the joys of their political futures being decided by phone calls to generals and police chiefs.” That incredibly chilling prediction is undergirded by an OpEd, again in The New York Times, by retired Admiral and Clinton loyalist, William McRaven [“Our Republic is Under Attack from the President,” October 18], in which he argues forcefully “that senior military leaders have lost confidence in the president and feel he is a threat to the nation,” and that “action” must be taken, “the sooner the better.” In other words…a military coup.

What is the over/under on how long it is until we are once again told, that believing governments are run by secret societies, is a crazy conspiracy theory? My guess is, the minute the next election is over. They will say SEE, a electoral victory by (candidate A/B) proves the people still have total control. On a secondary note, for years I have heard that when a new President is sworn in, he is taken to a secure room and show "real video of JFK being shot in HD" example only.... to show him who is in command. With President Trump we have this in Comey coming with the not so veiled warning of a Hooker peeing on the bed Trump is laying on. A bed that Obama slept in while on a previous visit to Russia. What was that but a warning, and Chuck U Schumer delivered another part of it, with his "the intelligence services have 10 ways to Sunday to get back at you if you don't tow their line". Some words added by me, but essentially correct. The Deep State lives, breathes and eats those who fight it. Conspiracies are just as real as the evidence to back them up, even though the evidence has not been vetted in a court of law.
THIS IS A TAG LINE...Exercising rights is only radical to two people, Tyrants and Slaves. Which are YOU? Our ignorance has driven us into slavery and we do not recognize it.
Ok, what gusher of absolute BULLSH*T.... Starting with: "Proven truths." When you see that, you brace for the lies. Deep-State Lieutenant Carle did not disappoint. Carle continued: [President Trump] "Undermined laws." "Undermined the judiciary." "Undermined the free press." And of course: "Undermined the intellligence communitah." (And then this horse-sh*t was piled on top of the mountain of bull-sh*t): "[President Trump] undermined the very values upon which this society was built." Which so-called "values" is Herr Carle referring to?: Luciferian? Satanic? Masonic? Rockafellerian? Bankster? Marxist? Fascist? (Or ALL of the above?) Those "values" are certainly not any "values" of which America's Founders would have approved. Notice the date of Deep-State Lieutenant Carle's embarrassing lies: May, 2017. Carle and the cabal thought they had Trump dead to rights with their phony "RUSSIA COLLUSION!" and fake "DOSSIER!". They thought their coup and mutiny was a fait accompli. OH WAIT. It failed. The script has flipped since. Trump and stubborn allied elements of the Deep State, Feebs, and other agency patriots battled hard and refused to be bulldozed. They kept on grinding, fought back and are now hold the upper hand, soon to delivery justice that's been a long time coming. The "Resistance" cabal had been going to the well one too many times in using that same psy-op tactic of projection we'd heard over and over -- accusing your opponent of EXACTLY that which YOU do engage in. It and they are simply no longer believable, effective, or makes any sense. The Gate-Keepers, their MSM-Hollywood puppets and Globalist allies have lost ALL credibility. The bad news is...they are cornered and desperate. They have declared war, especially now that the Trump Admn has gained the upper hand. If yu've been following along, the Trump Admin has been prosecuting a serious investigation into Deep State mutineers (no, you're not hearing much about that, are you? Yes, seeing is believing, isn't it?) Like an over-ripe boil, it must be lanced. It's going to get messy, folks. No way to avoid it. Hold on to your hat during these next couple of years. Expect anything AND everything. Here comes the kitchen-sink. (Really good essay and relevant post)

The degree of continued transparency depends on whether or not G00gle, YouTube, FB, Twitter and other social media are allowed to continue quashing and censoring "Truth"-based channels and websites. Incredibly, there are so many layers of control and manipulation beneath the ones we are designed to see -- "Elected Officials." unless these Black Op orgs are re-structured and moderated, they will again metastasize like a voracious fatal cancer, returning to creating havoc, war, and their One World Gummint, and NWO.

There was Chuckie S, in broad daylight letting the cat out of the bag, telling the whole world that there was a secret, powerful, unethical layer of authoritah the American people weren't privy to. Moreover, they had the means to threaten and hurt even a sitting President! (Why wasn't THIS construed as some "kooky CT"? OR, even seditious, the claim itself warranting an Investigation??) This "intelligence services" entity as Schumer told it was embedded deep within the bowels of DC, as the actual Decision-Maker -- NOT the President OR our Congress. The main fear now of the PTB is...many are connecting those same dots. These dots are leading to the unveiling of ALL Big Lies. This is exactly why they are really pushing their own conspiracy narrative, "Conspiracy Theorists-are-dangerous!" Aaah, but...but... to whom?? And...What other lies get might get exposed as lies all along? The desperate solution to regaining absolute control of minds and programmed-pods: Quashing and censoring ALL 'Truther-Channels' and their content at YouTube as well as at all other social media. More folks are putting the pieces of the puzzle together, and you're right - it does scare the PTB and is why there have been many who have called for those who promulgate CT theories to be criminally punished. Remember Cass Sunstein? He was the Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs in the Obama administration from 2009 to 2012, where he formulated and enacted a plan to effectively neutralize the growing problem of the “conspiracy theorists” and their “truth movement”. That effort has been ramped up recently, in fact soon after Trump started vilifying the deep state. All in all, more are waking up to the machinations of the elite cabal that controls the U.S. government. Trump in part can be thanked for that. It seems though that only certain CTs are considered dangerous - the ones that expose the criminal elite. I remember not so long ago, Epstein's lurid sex trafficking was considered a CT by many here.

How about that! 2009, right out of the gate neutralizing "CTs" were given priority. Yes, it is amazing how only select "CTs" have been allowed to ferment in the public square by the PTB. Like, "Trump Dossier!"; "Trump/Russia Collusion and Election tampering!"; "Trump accosts women!"' "Trump-Ukraine!"; "Trump-Blah, blah!" Once they couldn't make their first lie (an actual "CT") stick, the MSM and Dems goose and cred became cooked. That effort has been ramped up recently, in fact soon after Trump started vilifying the deep state. Big Time. They gambled by daring Trump to address all the fake charges directly to the American people. He did and ratted out the Rats in public. Can you imagine the volume of info and revelations available by now had the content not been removing since then? Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.
