United States News Title: ‘I’ll Shoot You In The F—king Face’: Video Shows Cop Threaten to Murder 16yo Boy San Clemente, CA — Orange County’s finest are in the news once more this week after one of their deputies was captured on video holding a 16-year-old boy at gunpoint while threatening to kill him—specifically noting that he would shoot him in the “f–king face.” The cop’s actions have landed him on paid vacation, otherwise known as administrative leave. According to reports, the altercation happened Saturday night during a live music event inside a skate park. The deputy reportedly didn’t want to hear the music anymore, so he walked over to the band and demanded that they stop playing. Surprisingly enough, the band stopped. However, not everyone was so happy about having their party shut down by this random man, so things escalated quickly. Three witnesses to the event, Koa, Sage, and Malcolm McClung, explained what happened next. Despite the band stopping, apparently the deputy became angry at the fact that the loud music was taking place at all, which is when he pulled his gun on a child. “I was right next to the kid that he pulled the gun on,” said Sage. As the video shows, the children didn’t realize this man — who was acting very aggressively toward them — was a cop. When the 16-year-old raised his skateboard in the air, seemingly in an act of self defense, the deputy pulled out his gun and threatened to kill him. “My friend didn’t know he was a cop. He was coming up to a friend very fast and aggressive, so my other friend jumped in and put his hand out for him to stop…The guy grabbed his hand aggressively,” said Koa. “My other friend held up his skateboard for him to stop, then the guy pulled a gun and said “‘I’ll shoot you in the f—king face if you don’t stop.’” “The officer wasn’t acting like an officer…just a big bully,” said Sage. As the video shows, the teen with the gun in his face gets on his knees and puts his hands in the air. “[The teen] got on the floor, did exactly what the man said. The man never identified himself as an officer to my friend…just kept aiming his gun and being more and more aggressive,” said Malcolm. According to CBS Los Angeles, Koa said that he also saw a badge that the officer flashed briefly, but he too thought it was fake. After the video of the deputy threatening to kill a child was posted to social media, he was given administrative leave and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department released the following statement: “Orange County Sheriff’s Department employees are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism on and off-duty. We take this incident seriously and will fully investigate.” Although this cop is reportedly being investigated, the chances of him facing any real accountability for his actions are slim to none. As TFTP has reported, a similarly disturbing video from the same town was uploaded to Facebook in 2017 prompting massive backlash against the LAPD. Hundreds of residents took to protesting after the video showed an LAPD officer pull a gun and fire off a shot at an unarmed 13-year-old boy. Last year, we learned that the cop in the video, officer Kevin Ferguson would face no consequences for his near-deadly and highly dangerous act of negligence. As predicted by TFTP, the Orange County district attorney made the announcement last year that no criminal charges will be filed against Ferguson. According to the OCDA’s office, they claim even though prosecutors thought the officer’s actions were reprehensible, they would not be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Ferguson committed a crime when he attacked a 13-year-old boy, assaulted him with a firearm, and employed unnecessary deadly force—all of which was captured on video. We now predict a similar outcome in this case.
