Other polling indicates that Trump may be attracting about 30% of the black male vote, largely based on reduced black unemployment since Trump took office. I think that is quite possible. And I think there is a hidden Latino vote that also approves of Trump's action on the economy; Latino voters are quite used to blowhard politicians back in their home countries anyway. And if I am even half-right about this, it will doom any Dem presidential candidate in 2020 and may cripple their down-ticket races considerably outside their core coastal Blue states. To: Tooconservative (#4) As far as downticket goes, Republicans showed that when they have power, they won’t do the right thing. But Democrats are showing that all they’ll do is attack the President. The importance of executive and judicial power are emphasized. As long as the courts uphold the President’s actions, Congress is reduced to irrelevance.
