The animal with burns over 90 percent of its body was later euthanized, WCAU- TV, Philadelphia, reported. The incident occurred last December. To: A K A Stone (#0) Culligan owned the kitten for a day and said he became frustrated when it soiled his apartment and scratched his son. It pooped and scratched his smelly brat on the first day and so he set it on fire? We need to recruit this guy to post here at LF. G.I. could give him advice on how to soak fish in Prestone so he can poison it and get away with killing it. Anyway, this "up to two years" thing probably means that if he cries to his group therapy session about it, the judge will let him out after a few months. This is essentially a liberal show trial, not actually concerned with doing something meaningful about animal welfare. It is grotesque to set a kitten on fire on the first day you have it. You should wait a month or two until you've developed a serious hatred for it. Notice the loaded language. A 9-month-old cat is not a 'kitten'. Female cats normally reach sexual maturity at 5–10 months, and males at 5–7 months. This so-called kitten was a grown female cat and was capable of having its own litter of actual kittens.
