The “Independence Day” star took to his Twitter account on Friday afternoon to threaten a possible political challenge against Schiff. “I’m thinking about running against Schiff for Burbank Rep. The actor is outspoken in his support for President Donald Trump, but he also has a history of legal issues which led him to leave California. He was also nominated for an Academy Award in 1974 for his role in “The Last Detail.” Another star from the “Vacation” franchise, Christie Brinkley, will be appearing on ABC’s “The Goldbergs” where she is reprising her classic role from the original “Vacation” film. Based on the images already released, she has not aged a day since the 1983 film. Will he win??? I have no idea, but he will make it a very, very lively campaign, and it will attract a lot of attention !!! Schiff is a pretty safe incumbent. I suppose it doesn't hurt the GOP or its other candidates much to have a whackadoodle like Quaid running in a hopeless race against Schiff, as long as Quaid doesn't say anything too awful. CA is a state where Ahnold won governor as a GOPe twice. And Roseanne Barr once ran for presidential nomination of the Green Party but she lost the nomination fight to Jill Stein. That was in the 2012 race. I suppose the nation will survive a Quaid for Congress campaign.
Oh, I think it will. I think we will even get a few good laughs out of it. As crazy as Quaid is, if he got elected, he would be a vast improvement over Pencil Neck, and he would give the Commiecrats a lot of heartburn !!! I would imagine he would spew huge amounts about the commiecrats that most all other GOPers do not have the balls to even think, much less say. Most all GOPers are a bunch of pussies, afraid of their shadow. I suspect Quaid would go after them much more fiercely than even Trump!! I do not think Quaid will be PC !! We all have bitched about the GOPers being a bunch of spineless pussies that won't fight back !! Well, here is a guy that I think will, and I don't believe he will pull any punches !! What's not to like in that ? I cannot vote for him, I do not live in that shithole state, thank God ! I welcome his campaign, and hope he wins !!!!
It's a little hard to imagine the RNC giving him any money even if he does win the primary. He may hurt a GOP candidate who could actually get elected. Quaid is homeless and his wife is mentally ill. The GOP doesn't want that available for libmedia to make the face of the party. It all reminds me a little of Jim Traficant.
