A North Carolina teacher has become the target of a Secret Service investigation after telling some of their students that Vice President Mike Pence should be “shot in the head.”

The teacher, who works at Cuthbertson High School in Union County, hasn’t been named by school officials. But they’ve been placed under official investigation for their comments.

Vice President Pence had been in the area to campaign for congressional candidate Dan Bishop, who has since triumphed in a contentious special election against a Democrat.

Never gonna happen - TPTB want students who are mind-controlled zombies and are programmed to become loyal citizens who never question the government, and teachers who will perform that task.

A much better solution is to eliminate public schools altogether - they are nothing more than indoctrination centers.

Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen.
The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning.
Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.

BINGO!

Shut down the DOE forever. Fire all employees so they can get a job as scabs at their nearest GMC plant. Several good things are accomplished.

Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

Ya think??????

Never mind investigation, the man should be under a psychiatric investigation for making threats as well as trying to suborn murder of an elected official.

There are things you can shrug your shoulders about and ignore, but a teacher telling school children the VP needs to be murdered ain't one of them.

Truth to tell,a school teacher has no business promoting OR denigrating a political party to his or her students. As a public official/employee they are OBLIGATED to be politically neutral.

In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.

And replace them with private schools?

Bad move, based on a study by education professors Christopher and Sarah Lubienski …

… who wrote in their book The Public School Advantage: Why Public Schools Outperform Private Schools which shows there’s little evidence behind the hype. Public schools are far from perfect, but even given their deficiencies, they have benefits that far outweigh those of privatized schools. Indeed, market-based educational reform, wrote the Lubienskis, is “increasingly a belief system rather than a policy theory."

I will go with the Lubienskis’ study rather than your concocted personal biased opinion.

Of course you will.

You'll never admit that public schools are government indoctrination centers.

The Dumbing Down of America – By Design

The international test results from the 2012 PISA indicate American students are lagging behind virtually all developed nations even more than in the past. China topped all 65 nations while US teenagers again scored at or below average in math, reading and science.

That is because the current educational system is no longer about learning the basic A-B-C’s but simply cranking out a subclass of work force laborers. This tragic fall from grace of America’s once great educational system has education researcher Cynthia Weatherly referring to America’s current education system as “limited learning for lifelong labor.”

But this planned system of a New World Order (NWO) featuring a planned global economy and a planned global education system has been promoted for well over a century. The Carnegie Foundation outlined its explicit roadmap for absolute oligarch control way back in the 1930’s. Department of Education whistleblower Charlotte Iserbyt exposes the conspired downfall of America’s educational system in her well documented chronicle The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America.

It turns out that America’s “father of modern education” John Dewey, an unabashed admirer of Stalin and his educational system, proclaimed his NWO agenda in 1947:

“… establishment of a genuine world order, an order in which national sovereignty is subordinate to world authority…”

The last thing the elite wants is an informed, empowered public mobilizing any grassroots movement to oppose government tyranny.

I will go with the Lubienskis’ study

Of course you will.

Why will I?

"Follow the money"

Consider this, Bernie – or am I dealing with your Elizabeth adopted personality – the National Center for Education Statistics sets the average cost of one year of private elementary school is $7,770. One year of private high school is $13,030.

Total public elementary and secondary enrollment is projected to increase between fall 2019 and fall 2028 to 51.4 million

So, let’s average the cost of kids in elementary school and high school to be $10,365.

I ask you, Bernie – or Elizabeth – where are the families who will send their kids to private schools get the $432,761,000,000 each year to pay for their private school education.

Ooops, taxes are not a choice. Because those private schools will then be tax- paid public schools once again.

Consider the fact that the National Center for Education Statistics show the average cost of one year of private elementary school is $7,770. One year of private high school is $13,030.

So, a family with 3 kids in elementary school will need to come up with $23,310 each year for private elementary schooling – while a family with 3 kids in private high school will need to come up with $39,900.

The most recent U.S. Census Bureau reported that real median household income was $59,039 per year.

Sp, I AGAIN ask you, Bernie – or Elizabeth – where are the families who will send their kids to private schools going to get the $23,310 each year for 3 kids in private elementary schooling or 3 kids in private high school going to get $39,900 each year?

Furthermore, where will the teachers come from to teach in the private schools. Oh, they will be the ones who moved over from the public schools – where else?

Are you starting to see the picture more clearly yet?
You'll never admit that public schools are government indoctrination centers.
I cannot since I cannot also admit that private schools will not be indoctrination centers of some type or the other. For, if it is that as you say, teachers indoctrinate students in public schools and that cannot be controlled – then pray tell how do you think what teachers indoctrinate students in private schools can be controlled and they still will not indoctrinate students.

Furthermore, A new 2018 study, which indicated that private school is not better at educating children than public school, looked at a diverse sample of children to determine if attending private school would predict their achievement (as well as social and personal outcomes) by age 15. The results of the study show that while private school students did outperform public school students, this difference was eliminated when you factor in the parents’ income and education level. Students who came from higher-income families had educational resources others did not have. Also, when you take into account students’ attitudes, risky behavior, and social adjustment, all of which can be associated with public schooling, researchers came to the conclusion that there was no evidence to suggest that private schools are more effective for promoting student success than public schools.

The last thing the elite wants is an informed, empowered public mobilizing any grassroots movement to oppose government tyranny.
Nah, that’s not right.

The last thing this country wants is an ill-informed agenda driven socialist-sounding [be he either sounding like Bernie or Elizabeth] ignoramus trying to say how to run our school system.

So – Big Boy – take your radicalized ideas and just shove off …

Oh, since when have Bernie and Pocahontas EVER done anything other than to throw money at the problem. Guess what? That ain't gonna fix it.

Seems to me that you are more aligned with their socialist view of public education.

I don't care how many millions you give the schools, they will still be indoctrination centers, and your denial of that fact only reinforces my belief that your thinking is not in line with what true conservatives believe.

Yes, Indoctrination Centers

Let’s not mince words. The government-operated schools are indeed indoctrination centers. After adopting the Prussian model of education in the mid- to late 1800s, our schools became rigidly autocratic and dogmatic. Our children were taught to respond to Pavlovian hourly bells. Curricula became dictated by State and Federal authorities. Textbook content is drafted by committee and so endlessly churned, so much so that it becomes bland vanilla. In an effort “not to offend” anyone, school texts have lost any incisive edge.  Everything in public schools is geared toward The Lowest Common Denominator, so that “No Child is Left Behind”.  This gradually dumbs down academic standards down to a nearly moronic level.  Tests are constantly re-normed.  Grades are no longer posted on bulletin boards. (Oh, no, that would be cruel.)

All About Feelings

And we are now told that tests and grades are meaningless. That even the whole concept of academic achievement is meaningless–lest any child who is sub-par should get their feelings hurt.  Oh yes, feelings. Because those feelings are now much more important than merit, or truth, or righteousness. Feelings trump everything else.  Most of all, we shouldn’t correct Johnny when he asserts that 2+2 = 5. It might hurt his feelings.  We’ve gone dangerously far down the slippery slope of political correctness taking precedence over academics.  The now widely-adopted Common Core standards pushed by the Obama Administration have gone so far as to reject absolute mathematical certainties. They call it Fuzzy Math.

The latest bit of social engineering is a move toward  discontinuance of having a Class Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Why? Because awarding them will make all of the other students somehow feel inadequate and inferior. Gosh, there they sit in their gowns with mortarboards, on their very last day of High School. And yet we are still worried about them getting their feelings hurt before going out into the world and earning a living. Oh, the humanity!

It seems that the decline of our  public schools was gradual, but then accelerated in the 1960s. Rather than re-hash this sad, prolonged saga in detail, I will direct you to the writings of John Taylor Gatto.

Okay – POOF – they’re immediately gone. Disappeared from the face of this earth.

So, exactly what are you going to replace them with, how much will it cost and where will the money come from?

While you are concisdering your answer, I ask that you "Follow the money" in Post 6.

With the median household income of $59,039 per year – where is the family going to get $39,900 a year to send family with 3 kids in private high school? And we are not even addressing the cost of infrastructure – building the private schools.

Simple Dot-Connecting:

This simple case simply reinforces the notion that there has been an ongoing double-standard of Law Enforcement that's obviously been rigged to protect the Left, Anarchists, and the rich & powerful. It has increasingly made a mockery of the US Constitution and respect of law in the eyes of all sane, rational Americans.

Worst than that, this subversion is BY DESIGN, to THIS end (and the PTB don't care if you know):

The Elites and their vast web of control of our (rogue) government, courts, institutions, and media have been calling ALL the shots in support of their anti-sovereignty, anti-Christian, globalist agenda. They are purposely creating outrage that they know will come to a head...soon.

A much better solution is to eliminate public schools altogether -
There are 132,853 K-12 schools in this country. You say “eliminate public schools altogether.” You have been asked, but you have yet to say what schooling system you want to replace the public schools with. Or how much it will cost and where you will get the money. Why can’t you do that?

It is becoming increasingly obvious to everyone that you are trying to communicate ideas beyond your limited intelligence. Most will just shut you off and pay no attention to you. I however will not do that because I am the intrepid one here who will readily call you out to tell you that knowledge is easily accessible now days. You can avail yourself to expertise and learn if you want to from others. But when you choose not to, then it is better to simply shut up.

Your rampant pessimism is constantly displayed through your incongruous ravings. You're always negative. I am not saying that you have to change and become a cheerful optimist all the time. But I will say that if nothing positive ever comes from you in your posts, then people won’t be interested in what you have to say.

You can now tell us, big mouth, what you want to replace the public schools with, how much it will cost and where you will get the money.

If you work at it, you will find that the world is a fodder bin with virtually an infinite source of topics and the sky can be literally seen as the limit when it comes to finding new sources to post from that are both informative and entertaining.

You always return to your same old sources – because they have the cop-hating and anti-government articles with which you agree.

I cannot speak for “the others” to whom you refer – but I can definitely say that I welcome any dissenting views that are rational.

To be rational for me, the information needs have several components. Most of all the information that is supplied must be complete and it seldom or never is in the articles you post

So, its fine if you post articles that are otherwise, but stop trying to channel everyone to your point of view.

I am still waiting for you to climb out of the hole you dug yourself into.

First you say to “eliminate public schools altogether.”

Then when I ask you wat you want ot replace the public schools with, how much will it cost and where will you get the money.

Then you answer, “Eliminate the DOE, cede control of the curricula back to the LOCAL school districts.”

Then I ask, how can you cede control back to something you have eliminated?

So I ask you for the third time – what will you replace the public schools you shut down with, how much will it cost and where will you get the money?
