SRV is one of my all time favorites. Years ago I jammed with a guy that was just as good. Bobby could do all SRV stuff, note for note. It was amazing !!! To: Stoner (#1) (Edited) Deckard, thanks for posting !! SRV is one of my all time favorites. He does Hendrix better than Hendrix IMO. Maybe a lot of that has to do with the later recording technology. Makes me wonder what kind of music he'd be putting out had he not tragically died at his peak, same for Jimi and Terry Kath (Chicago). Years ago I jammed with a guy that was just as good. Bobby could do all SRV stuff, note for note. It was amazing !!! Not knocking your friend, but I bet he didn't have the same "soul". A lot of guys can copy SRV note for note, but there is just something magical about Stevie's sound. Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning.
