FRESNO, California (KSEE/KGPE) A former Community Service Officer with Clovis Police has been arrested for sexual assault of a minor. Clovis Police announced Monday that 26-year-old Mitchell Singh is facing more than 30 allegations of acts of sexual misconduct. Investigators add that all allegations took place while Singh was off-duty and not in his capacity as an employee of the City of Clovis. Officers say he was released from his employment in July, for reasons unrelated to these charges. Singh is facing charges of lewd and lascivious acts to a child and of continual acts to a child under the age of 14. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information about the allegations is asked to contact Detective Ryan Swank at (559) 324-3425. |

The public will be relieved to know this fine police employee was only diddling kiddies on his own time, not while on duty.
