CLACKAMAS COUNTY, OR (KPTV) - A Wilsonville mother accused of taking her daughter out of the state to avoid cancer treatment has been booked into the Clackamas County Jail.
Christina Dixon was booked early Thursday morning on two counts each of first-degree custodial interference and first-degree criminal mistreatment.
On June 10, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office and Wilsonville police asked for the public's help locating Christina and her 13-year-old daughter Kylee.
Officials said a court order was issued for Kylee to be placed in the custody of the Oregon Department of Human Services. Deputies said the girl is in need of medical attention and her mother ignored the court order.
Online postings by the family state Kylee is battling cancer, but she is in great care with her mom, who is treating the teen with the use of CBD oil and naturopathic treatments.
Deputies worked with the FBI on the case and, acting on tips, notified the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department that Christina and Kylee were in Nevada.
The sheriff's office said Christina and Kylee were located on June 13 at the Long Horn Casino & Hotel. Kylee was placed in protective custody.
Christina is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday afternoon in Oregon City.

FOX 12 reporter Amber Wilmarth spoke with Christina Thursday morning and asked if she ever thought she'd be in jail over the battle.
"No, definitely not. Cause I wouldn't think this is possible for any parent to go through, for getting charged for helping my daughter live makes no sense," Christina told FOX 12.
Christina says she did speak with her daughter over the phone two days ago. She says Kylee is doing well and undergoing a natural treatment similar to what she had her on already.
FOX 12 reached out to DHS for comment. They sent back a statement saying: "The Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) takes the safety and well-being of children very seriously. DHS is obligated to comply with court orders, and any actions DHS may take in regard to this child will be focused on the childs safety and well-being. DHS has requirements to protect the safety and health of the children in our care, as well as their personal information. While we appreciate the communitys support for the child, we are not able to share information. "

In June of 2018, Kylee left the hospital and began her natural treatment using vitamins, herbs, and pure CBD oil for the cancer. And, according to the family, it worked.
It started reversing her tumor for the first time, said Christina, who claimed the tumor reduced in size by 90% during the past year.
My daughters cancer has not spread. And no, she hasnt had chemotherapy or any other treatments for the last 11 months, explained Christina. She is thriving, surviving and doing better than ever.
Despite the dramatic improvement in Kylees health after they abandoned chemotherapy, the state still felt it necessary to intervene. In June, they came looking for the mother and daughter, with police claiming Christina had kindapped her own daughter and was treating her against her will. All of this, of course, was lies, according to Christina.
In the land of the free, your child can be stolen from you by the government and you can be thrown in a cage for treating your daughters cancer successfully in a manner in which the state disapproves. And we call this Freedom.
Shameful indeed.
