In the mountains of Costa Rica, there is a place where all dogs are welcome. Territorio de Zaguates is an old farm that has been turned into a lush canine sanctuary. With more than 700 adoptable dogs, you'll be sure to find a best friend here.

More like a thousand dogs currently at least; ALL of whom have names which are known by "Crazy Dog Lady" (that's what she calls herself.)
In case any of you don't know about this mission and place (manned by just four people most of the time), these good folks may restore your faith in human nature.
The surrounding area citizens and government are not only refusing to help, but instead keep on purposely hassling these good people with over-regulations and un-necessary paperwork that are even preventing visitors. Thank God for the owners of this dog sanctuary -- a wife and husband -- and their unusual love and commitment for taking care of the unwanted, the old, the strays, the the abused, and the discarded. Even if these dogs aren't adopted, they will feel like a part of a huge "family."
Dogs: Aren't they the only creature on earth designed by God solely to love man unconditionally? To protect us? What other creature gives us an undying loyalty? Friendship and companionship for as long as they live? Has such a forgiving nature?
Of all God's creatures, *only* dogs can walk up to a total stranger and instantly love them. Most people may not think about how amazing this is, but it is indeed.
In a world full of sad / bad news, this story gives one a warm heart !!!

I have few rules in life,but Rule Number 1 is "NEVER trust anyone that hates dogs." In all my life I have never found any reason to change my mind on this. The few people I have known that claimed to dislike dogs all seemed to be lacking in humanity,and why would I trust a person like that?
