Thanks to George Bush and the US Military along with Tony Blair's Brits and a few other loyal friends Obama's screwed by dropping the missile shield, millions are alive today who would have been killed by this scum and Saddam's cabal. And not to mention countless children who would have starved under Saddam and the UN's corrupt to the bone "Oil for Food" scam. It took a while but they got all those sons of bitches in Iraq finally. BBC News - 'Chemical Ali' executed in Iraq: "Ali Hassan al-Majid, a former Iraqi official known as Chemical Ali, has been executed by hanging, a government spokesman has announced. Majid, an enforcer in Saddam Hussein's regime and his cousin, had earlier been sentenced to death four times for genocide and crimes against humanity. In January, he was sentenced to death for ordering the gas attack on the Kurdish town of Halabja in 1988. It is believed that about 5,000 people died in the attack.

These are the facts and they are not in dispute: Majid was appointed governor of northern Iraq in March 1987, marking the beginning of a sustained offensive, known as the "Anfal Campaign", by Iraqi troops against the Kurdish population. Kurdish organisations describe the events which followed as genocide. A decree signed by Majid, dated 3 June 1987, stated: "Within their jurisdiction, the armed forces must kill any human being or animal present in these areas." Human rights campaigners say the Iraqi army then proceeded to kill tens of thousands of Kurdish civilians in gas attacks and by summary execution.

Wasn't it during the 1980's when the U.S. government was aiding Saddam? I seem to recall the Reagan administration opposing sanctions on Iraq for its use of gas.
Juvenile 'point'. We helped the Communists in WWII. We helped the French win back their country in that war, and how have they acted since, more or less? Rebuilt Japan after destroying it...the list is rather endless. Bottom line is the ME is a better place with Saddam and Sons.
