Title: Thank You George W Bush: The World's A Better Place Today As 'Chemical Ali' executed in Iraq

Thanks to George Bush and the US Military along with Tony Blair's Brits and a few other loyal friends Obama's screwed by dropping the missile shield, millions are alive today who would have been killed by this scum and Saddam's cabal.

And not to mention countless children who would have starved under Saddam and the UN's corrupt to the bone "Oil for Food" scam. It took a while but they got all those sons of bitches in Iraq finally.

BBC News - 'Chemical Ali' executed in Iraq: "Ali Hassan al-Majid, a former Iraqi official known as Chemical Ali, has been executed by hanging, a government spokesman has announced.

Majid, an enforcer in Saddam Hussein's regime and his cousin, had earlier been sentenced to death four times for genocide and crimes against humanity.

In January, he was sentenced to death for ordering the gas attack on the Kurdish town of Halabja in 1988.

It is believed that about 5,000 people died in the attack.

If we hadn't invaded Iraq, we might be paying upwards of $3 for gas by now . . .

Back in the day, there was a poster on another forum who would chortle at the thought of $3 a gallon gas...if only because gas always seemed to be 50cents cheaper where he was...

Now...what was that guy's name? Bidlight...Budlite...Badlite...Bad...

Hey, I enjoy watching "The Adventures of war and Badeye" as much as the next guy.

But thanks anyway - I think I'll remain a spectator for the time being. You guys provide plenty of entertainment without my help.

When did Chemical Ali do most of his dirty work? How and with what was it accomplished? And where was it manufactured and how did it get into his hands?

Wasn't it during the 1980's when the U.S. government was aiding Saddam? I seem to recall the Reagan administration opposing sanctions on Iraq for its use of gas.

Juvenile 'point'. We helped the Communists in WWII. We helped the French win back their country in that war, and how have they acted since, more or less?

Rebuilt Japan after destroying it...the list is rather endless.

Bottom line is the ME is a better place with Saddam and Sons. History will note it was the beginning of the end of mad dictatorships, royal families, and sick twisted theology based jihadist types. Its going to take a couple of bloody decades, but the dice have been cast.

Wha...chuckle...huh? No, but Marco Polo rode, on occasion, an elephant.

When is Iraq going to elect a government under its constitution? Afghanistan just held the most crooked election since Ferdinand Marcos and things have devolved into such a state there that we could do nothing more then just shrug our shoulders...but there was one good thing to come of it...it managed to make Florida 2000 look fair by comparison.

I'd have to amend that to include all governments, not just western.

Didn't claim that, ever, as you well know.

The fact is different times cause different, and yep, 'curious' relationships between nations. In the 1980's, in the immediate aftermath of the Iranian Hostage Crisis, we backed Saddam in his war against Iran. Yep, its True! (laughing).

But it has no importance related to what took place post Saddam's ill advised invasion of Kuwait, and his threat/stated goal of invading Saudi Arabia. No rational person could let that guy take over a significant portion of the worlds known oil reserves. Even you know that, I suspect, GO65.

Bottom line is its all in the 'rear view mirror' now. Saddam's dead, his son's are dead, and Iraq has a elected government for the first time in its history thats valid, not puppets. The ME has been changed forever because of it in my opinion, for the better.

History will judge.
