The fire was most likely started accidentally - no big conspiracy here.
What the Catholic guy did say on Fox before he was cut off was that there have been attacks on Catholic/Christian churches previously.
Assuming it was accidental, the problem is it may be perceived as intentional. This fire has the potential to be a dangerous social/political event. Certainly it's a day of infamy in France.
