This is truly an amazing story and mission of one man (Takis) in Crete who has sacrificed everything -- all his possessions, his time, his life -- to save dogs who have been abandoned, unwanted, badly hurt and otherwise discarded. He's patched them up, nursed them, adopted them, loved them. In my opinion he is doing God's work! Have you ever seen so many happy dogs in one place? He knows each and every dog, sorts them out in different groups according to temperament...and even finds the time with his "Special Needs" dogs. Simply EPIC. Once his story went viral, donations began pouring in to help. And yes, people are now able adopt them. (Well worth watching some of his vids at 'Dog Rescue' @ Youtube as well.)
