NASAs Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS) works closely with scientists to create visualizations of NASA data in order to promote a greater understanding of Earth and space science research activities at NASA and its collaborators.
We are creating more and more of our content in 4K resolution and are starting to experiment in 360-degree visuals, so releasing material through YouTube will allow users greater ease and flexibility in using our visualizations.
Starting in 2017, we plan on releasing all our new material here as well as on our website, https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov .

So who knew NASA had an animation "Studio"? Cool!
It's difficult in some videos to discern between real and animated, and those that might be use both.
I'm shocked so few views are registered. Already I noticed one video has been removed since last night when a "Helio-Physicist" gave his presentation on the "problems" of the sun. He assure his audience a spacecraft was hoped to drift close enough it to the Sun to conduct scientific research (without somehow melting?)
By the way -- might anyone suggest exactly how a Helio-Physicist might help solve any "problem" the sun might present to the earth?
Many of the NASA Studio vids focus on foreboding weather, possible future weather-related disasters, the "melting ice" phenomena around the Northern Hemisphere's Polar Ice Cap, etc.
In the above video, while explaining Agenda 21 (now 30) and subject of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, the narrator slips up and mentions "POPULATION CONTROL." (Listen in from 1:40-1:50.)
I'm sure it's just an innocent mistake and not a subliminal goal at work.
Otherwise, the 4k animation tour of the Moon is interesting.
