Intelligent talk on the subject. If you have the time you will learn from this guy.
I like his conversational style overall but it would be a better video if he condensed his talking points and organized his talk better. Certainly, I think he could have covered the same material in 45 minutes instead of 2 hours.
He is an interesting guy though. He reminds me of Dr. Anis Shorrosh, an Arab Christian (Baptist, as I recall, a Pali Christian who came from Nazareth, as he says, "a guy from Jesus' hometown") who has made a mark in formally debating theology with recognized Islamic scholars, along with their distribution on well-regarded mainstream Islamic websites. This is an Arab Christian who is knowledgeable about Islam and a good debater. And he relishes the debate, much as the Islamic scholars do who debate him.
Here is a list of Christian scholars in debates with Islamic scholars on various topics.
One of these videos listed is Anis Shorrosh debating the divinity of Jesus with an Islamic scholar, Dr. Jamal Badawi. It is titled "The Divinity Of Jesus". He also later debated the same scholar in a video on the Quran.
Here's an embedded copy of it from YouTube; Badawi is pictured in the video thumbnail. Other videos showing Shorrosh debating Muslim scholars in conversational modern Arabic are also available, however, Shorrosh is not considered a classical Arabic language scholar, as many of the Muslim scholars are.
This is very meaty, solid debate, very Arabic in style with the crisp pointed language and the attempts to vanquish the opponent with a pointed argument that they can't answer adequately. It's kind of an Arab thing culturally. They love to stick it to the other guy publicly. It lasts almost 3 hours. The Muslims hate Shorrosh, as you can see from the comments they put on the thread.
Another interesting character that likes to take the debate to the Muslims is Walid Shoebat, another Pali Arab Christian. (Since this is LF and a few people hate him here, I thought I'd mention that Congressman Amash from Michigan is also a Pali Christian whose mother converted to Christianity from Islam.) You can search out Shoebat's website and videos for some decent content.
Here is Walid Shoebat at 2008 Southern California Prophecy Conference speaking on the subject of the end times, the mark of the Beast and the Antichrist. Overall, the Apocalypse and the role of Islam within it according to Shoebat's interpretation. He's prepared to argue it at length. Great length since it's another long video at 3 hours, 25 minutes.
