Sen. Bernie Sanders cut his head on a glass shower door on Friday morning and received seven stitches, his campaign announced. But the 2020 candidate was given a "clean bill of health" and will attend all of his previously scheduled campaign events over the next couple days. Arianna Jones, a Sanders spokeswoman, said "out of precaution, he went to a walk-in clinic" to have the cut checked out. "The senator has proceeded with all of his scheduled events — joining a group of approximately 20 local clergy for breakfast this morning — and looks forward to joining a roundtable with South Carolinians this afternoon to discuss how we can provide high quality affordable health care for all," she added. Sanders cut his head on the edge of the shower door, his campaign said, but did not fall. The 77-year-old Sanders, who has traveled to several states since announcing his second presidential bid last month, held a rally in South Carolina yesterday. He is planning to headline another rally in Nevada tomorrow.
Poster Comment: Oooh, Boinie the commie hurt his widdle head. Shower safety should be a constitutional right for everyone. We need a federal Department of Bathroom Fixtures and Shower Safety with inspection police nationally and subsidies for the poor.

No. He bumped his head getting out of the shower. Given his age, that resulted in a wound requiring seven stitches. He didn't "cut" shit.
It took stitches to close the wound so it sounds like a cut to me, but then who indeed gives a shit except some senile old nitpickers?

yes I fell over last night and gouged a spot on my knee but despite my advanced age a visit to the ER wasn't warranted. Banging your head is a hazard but how you do it in the shower is a little difficult to understand, he should have SS guards on all occcasions

My guess is he had a shower with sliding glass doors and hit his head on the upper track. I've done that.
