Maybe. Maybe not. This might be nothing more than a U.S. counter-intelligence operation to deceive the IRGC. It is also suspicious that they're claiming this publicly. Any good intel outfit will keep their sources and methods private so as not to tip off the target of their vulnerability. It really is very considerate of the Iranians to tip us off to their hacking of all of our drones so we can fix the drones and shut the IRGC out of our drone system again.
