Speaker Pelosi has informed the House Sergeant at Arms that no executive branch official will be permitted entry into the Capitol building. Earlier Fox News reported Pelosi cancelled a walkthrough last week, and a second request for reconsideration from the White House is expected to meet the same fate. The House Speaker controls who is, and who is not, permitted entry to the House floor. Until Speaker Pelosi calls for a vote to support a joint session of congress, the President cannot enter the chamber. Deputy White House Press Secretary Hogan Gidley discusses the status of the current shutdown negotiations and the likelihood a SOU address will have to take place outside Washington DC. ROTFL
It looks like Speaker of The House Nancy Pelosi has no intention of allowing the House chamber to be used for a State of the Union address.

Trump will make the SOTU address wherever it suits his purpose; I hope the venue is in one of his MAGA rallys.
I recommend a keg party at Kavanaugh's place in nearby Maryland.
Trump can just use his power to call a special session. Then once he is done he can if Mitch goes along with it Adjourn their ass as long as he wants to. He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper;

The SOTU is a formal requirement by the President as you well know. Now you want folks to "boogie" and "puke"?
And as YOU well know... (Or at least you should, no guarantee that you actually do...) Anyway, as you SHOULD well know, there is no requirement that POTUS deliver the SOTU in person... he can simply have it delivered in writing...
US tradition for Trump means nothing about the SOTU, especially when there is no "nailed" requirement. He can deliver his perspective while taking a dump in Mara-Lago for all I care.

He should call that special session. That way the murdering cunt has to stand behind him and listen and look stupid.
The real reason is that Pelosi doesn't want to give Trump a nationwide forum to tout all of his successes over a mere two years. The only areas where Trump hasn't succeeded (Obamacare, immigration issues) are those where the Democrats refuse to listen to reason and common sense.
If the Republicans were smart they'd start a new line of attack -- Pelosi refuses to let Trump speak because Trump wouldn't let her ride on a military plane. Remember how the Democrats used that against Newt's government shutdown when Clinton made him exit the rear of Air Force One?
