The yobs, themselves aged between 17 and 19, were said to have carried out unprovoked attacks on people who were going about their business in a train station in Amberg in Bavaria A GANG of "migrants" have been arrested in a German city after they left 12 people aged 13 to 42 injured in random attacks, it has been reported. The four teenagers, who are said to be from Iran, Syria and Afghanistan, allegedly targeted passers-by in Amberg, Bavaria. Eyewitnesses claim a man was pushed down a flight of stairs in the spate of violence which broke out at about 6,30pm on Saturday. A 13-year-old boy was allegedly kicked in the stomach and a 29-year-old landscape gardener was hit in the face. Meanwhile a 17-year-old was rushed to hospital with a head injury. Another teenager was branded a “hooker” before one of her friends was hit in the face when they tried to help, Bild reports. (One of the alleged yobs, who, appears to have a black eye, as featured in the German newspaper The Bild) Racist abuse was also hurled at the group. The incident has sparked a debate on behaviour among refugees in Germany and prompted Interior Minister Horst Seehofer to tell the Bild daily that "if asylum-seekers carry out violent crimes, they must leave our country”. And he said, if necessary, laws should be changed to make that possible. Interior Minister Horst Seehofer expressed his shock at what had allegedly happened He said: “The events in Amberg have upset me a lot. “These are violent excesses that we can not tolerate. If asylum seekers commit violent crimes, they must leave our country. “If the existing laws are not enough, they must be changed.” But Mr Seehofer added a xenophobic attack in the towns of Bottrop and Essen, in which a car was driven into a group of foreigners on New Year's Eve, needed to be pursued with the same “determination”. The German man, 50, who has a history of mental illness, repeatedly drove into crowds and injured eight people in apparent intentional attacks against foreigners. He has been ordered kept in detention pending possible charges, police said today. The victims included a 46-year-old Syrian woman who suffered life-threatening injuries. June German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has come to symbolise open door mass migration policy, now believes if the rate of immigration is not slowed it could "make or break" the EU. People smugglers have now turned their attention to the UK. At least 139 migrants have been caught crossing from France to Britain during the festive period, and a total of 239 have reached the UK by illegal boats since December.
