Washington is already taking sides in the battle between President Trump and incoming Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, with Trump ally Sen. Rand Paul slamming the 2012 GOP presidential nominee. Paul tweeted that Romney is a “Big Government Republican” and faux conservative. In reacting to Romney’s attack in the Washington Post on Trump, Paul also made clear that he does not think Romney, who is still to be sworn in as a new senator, has any affinity for former President Reagan. Paul tweeted this morning, “Like other Big Government Republicans who never liked Reagan, Mitt Romney wants to signal how virtuous he is in comparison to the President. Well, I’m most concerned and pleased with the actual conservative reform agenda @realDonaldTrump has achieved.”
Poster Comment: Romney is a piece of shit. Rand Paul is the best Senator by a long shot. Hopefully Rand runs after Trump serves his 12 years. Yeah 12 years.

Typical of the GOP brand of partisan hacks who got Obama elected twice. Their candidates in '08 & '12 were so bad that they were sure losers in a national election. Worse than the two time loser Bob Dole, who gave us Jimmy Carter & Bill Clinton in '76 & '96 respectively, . But they tell us that they're better than SOMEONE. McCain & Romney aren't better than anyone, they're not viable in the USA.

Would Ron Paul Have Defeated Barack Obama? An Educated Guess Electoral College: The result of the above analysis is that Paul defeats Obama by a 342−196 margin, compared to the 332−206 margin by which Obama defeated Romney. The difference is that Paul manages to win Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Washington, all of which were lost by Romney. Also, Paul does not lose any state that Romney won. This is a net gain of 136 electoral votes for the Republican candidate. In terms of states carried, Paul carries 36 and Obama carries 14+DC, while Obama carried 26+DC and Romney carried 24 in the real 2012 race. This produces the following electoral map.
