House Democrats have already signaled that they are less interested in actually governing the country than they are in wasting millions of dollars in federal resources re-doing investigations that have already been done. And frankly, that’s probably exactly what their base of voters wants them to do: Go after Trump with all the zealous subpoenas that they have in the cannon. It’ll make for some terrific segments on the Rachel Maddow Show, some riveting blogs on Lawfare, and plenty of clickbait on Reddit’s r/politics. What more could any liberal ask? But when they aren’t laser-focused on finding a reason to impeach Donald Trump, Democrats are reportedly going to spend the rest of their time playing one of their most worn-out songs: The Ballad of Gun Control.

House Democrats are planning to move several high-profile bills to combat gun violence soon after they take power in January, underscoring their belief that the political landscape has shifted dramatically on an issue that’s plagued American society for decades.
With backing from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and key chairmen, Democrats will move to require federal background checks on all gun sales, part of a broader effort by the party to advance long-stalled gun control measures.
While the proposal won’t get through the Republican-run Senate, much less become law, getting through the House will be a win for the gun-control movement, which has little to cheer about since President Donald Trump was sworn into office.
“The new Democratic majority will act boldly and decisively to pass commonsense, life-saving background checks that are overwhelmingly supported by the American people,” Pelosi said in a statement.
You’ll excuse us for being confused, but how does it count as a “win” for the gun-control movement to pass bills that have exactly zero chance of becoming law? We know that gun-grabbers have a skewed view of the measures needed to actually save lives, but surely they aren’t so far removed from reality that they think a phantom background check bill will do the trick.
Oh right, this isn’t about passing laws or saving lives; this is about turning guns into yet another marker of the political divide and turning the NRA into the Demons of America. All that matters is getting into the headlines. All that matters is riling up the base so they’ll donate more money to Pelosi & Friends. We forgot, that’s all.

Democrats are, for all practical purposes, communists who want to destroy anything helpful to the nation. Anything that's bad for America they're on that bandwagon.
The solution is NEVER give up your guns and begin "grassroot" organizations now. And support the NRA. In this last election they were outspent in many areas. The super-rich Democrats with their upper-middle class contingency and the lying media have a lot more money than we the people, so we must group together beginning in our own neighborhoods and communities. Never forget united we stand and divided we fall.
