The Russians did not affect the American election. People who voted for Trump didn't do so because of something the Russians said or did. It's ridiculous. Nobody likes the Russians. America voted for Trump because America didn't like Hillary. Putin and Russia had no impact at all on the US election. Everybody I know really likes Trump. Almost everybody. There are a couple as you described that he wasn't Hillary. I think Trump voters mostly liked him. Liked his style. Liked his agenda. Spending on social media campaigns was instrumental to all the candidate's campaigns, some used it quite well, some did not.
