The Vatican’s third-most powerful official has been convicted in Australia on all charges he sexually abused two choir boys there in the late '90s, according to two sources with knowledge of the case. A unanimous jury returned its verdict for Cardinal George Pell on Tuesday (Australian time) after more than three days of deliberations, the sources said, in a trial conducted under a gag order by the judge that prevented any details of the trial being made public. Pell, the Vatican’s finance chief and the highest Vatican official to ever go on trial for sex abuse, left Rome in June 2017 to stand trial in Melbourne. As that trial was about to get underway in June, a judge placed a suppression order on all press coverage in Australia, according to the order reviewed by The Daily Beast. Prosecutors applied for the order and it was granted to “prevent a real and substantial risk of prejudice to the proper administration of justice.” That order remains in place in Australia. That trial, known as “the cathedral trial,” was declared a mistrial earlier this year after a hung jury, the sources say. A retrial began immediately and ended this week with the unanimous verdict.

It is true, pedophiles are not pedophiles because of the celibacy rule. But the celibacy rule has the effect of categorically and a priori ruling out the 95% of the population that is normal from ever being even considered for any spot in the worldwide hierarchy of men that deal with children on an instiitutional basis every day. All of those clergy manning all of those posts, everywhere on the planet, have to be drawn exclusively from the 5% of sexuall abnormal men. Normal men are heterosexual and want to get married. Pairing off with a woman and having children with them and raising a family is a BIG THING for them, one of the primary goals of life. Any man who does not want to have sex is by definition an oddball. Any man who VOLUNTARILY foregoes having sex with women and raising a family in order to...be a relatively poor cog in a machine serving an invisible God is abnormal. What sort of abnormal men, then are available to become priests at all? Well, there are those heterosexual men who believe in their religion so much they are willing to forego sex. That's not very many men. Then there are the asexual men. Probably fewer than those. Then there are homosexual men, pedophilic men, predators - men who are never going to have normal sex lives, who will not miss relations with women, and for whom being put into positions of power and proximity to vast numbers of children and young men is like working in a candy store. Remember, please, that the hiring conditions automatically exclude ANY sexually normal men. So, that is the 5% of freaks from which all of the clergy must be selected. What, then, is best? I suppose the asexuals. How many REAL asexual men are there in the world at any one time? Two? Three? There are a lot more men who APPEAR to be asexual, because they suppress their sex drives into dark secret places. And those are invariably bad. How many heterosexual men are really willing to give up sex for life? Some. But that leaves a pool of homosexuals and pedophiles as the only other candidates to fill a vast number of posts. So you're right: the celibacy pool does not CREATE pedophiles. But what it DOES do is SORT for them. It sorts out all of the normal men in the population, leaving about a million jobs a year open exclusively to sexually aberrant men AS A CONDITION OF THE JOB. Normal men are sexual active heterosexuals - and THAT class of men is absolutely and categorically excluded from the priesthood in every case. Normal, sexually active men need not apply. We ONLY TAKE sexually abnormal men. They are the ONLY acceptable applicants. Then we are surprised when there are not enough abnormal heterosexual men willing to give up on sex in order to be poor and serve the Great Spook in the Sky. So you end up with a system that concentrates the toxic waste of human male sexual deviancy into the black suits and Roman collars of the clergy. And then we're SO SURPRISED when a group of men INTENTIONALLY SELECTED based on a criteria that GUARANTEES sexual deviancy, are sexually deviant. Go figure? Who knew? It's a crock of shit. No, the celbacy rule doesn't CAUSE pedophilia. It merely screens out anybody who isn't a sexual deviant from the job candidate pool, leaving exactly what we have. And it's killing the Church. If the Church keeps the celibacy rule, the Church will have disappeared from North America by 2300.
The Catholic Church has allowed rot to run rampant throughout the organization that began with Vatican II. The Church has so destroyed itself that only the feeble minded and the complicit conspirators remain. This is not a church of Jesus Christ any longer; rather, it's a feel-good establishment that is full of queers, lesbians and free thinkers. Time to sack the Vatican, kick out the pansies and secular humanists and rebuild by brining back the tenets and rubrics that were the Catholic Church! Meanwhile, stay away from this den of satan; find a traditional chapel or watch live traditional masses on the internet.
