There is no god given right to keep and bear arms. Anyone who has ever had a gun has not taken it to the promised land. It must be a gun free zone. The right to keep and bear arms in the 2nd Amendment is the same British common law right to keep and bear arms that the colonists enjoyed, and that did not come from God either. The former colonists enshrined the common law right into the Constitution. The people ratified the Amendment. It is an individual right to keep and bear that are lawful to possess.
