LEFT WING LOONS Title: Michelle Obama: ‘I stopped even trying to smile’ during Trump’s inauguration Former first lady Michelle Obama says in her new book that she stopped even trying to smile during President Trumps 2017 inauguration. Obama sat down with Good Morning Americas Robin Roberts in an interview released Sunday to discuss the turnover from her husbands administration to Trumps. She writes in her book Becoming that the celebratory feel during her husbands two inaugurations was gone when Trump was sworn into office in Jan. 2017. Someone from Baracks administration might have said that the optics there were bad, that what the public saw didnt reflect the presidents reality or ideals, she wrote, according to ABC. But in this case, maybe it did. Realizing it, I made my own optic adjustment, she continued. I stopped even trying to smile. Roberts pointed out that the Obamas have mostly avoided criticizing Trump since leaving the White House last year. I think its safe to say that during your husbands presidency, it was No Drama Obama, Roberts said. What goes through your mind when you read and hear whats going on with this administration. I said what I continue to say being the commander in chief is a hard job, Obama said. You need to have discipline. You need to read and you need to be knowledgable. You need to know history. You need to be careful with your words. But voters make those decisions and once the voters have spoken, Former first lady Michelle Obama says in her new book that she stopped even trying to smile during President Trumps 2017 inauguration. The former first lady opened up about her criticism of Trump in her book, writing that she would never forgive him for spreading the birther conspiracy theory against her husband. "The whole thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed," Obama writes. "But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks." What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my familys safety at risk. And for this Id never forgive him," she continues. The in-depth interview with Roberts was released amid Michelle Obamas promotional tour for her new memoir, which will be released on Tuesday. In the book, she opens up about her marriage and reveals that she suffered a miscarriage 20 years ago. The Obamas used in vitro fertilization to conceive their two daughters, Malia and Sasha.
Poster Comment: "..... we live with what we live with, she added." How clever. In her Princeton dissertation Michelle Obama bashed the US... on the campaign trail she said the only time she was proud of the country was after her husband was nominated. she is bigoted garbage. But, soon after she said "her words were misconstrued," or some such nonsense. That made it all go away.
