The reason this particular set of events is again in the news, is that the testimony of COHEN plants this firmly in violation of campaign finance laws. So it is fairly clear that the toad can indeed be prosecuted for it. It also brings up obstruction of justice for the actions taken as POTUS following the story breaking.... Of course, these particular charges are the least of dip-shit donnie's legal problems.
