Thats a de facto banning that Press Secretary Sarah Sanders says is because of the way the longtime Trump foil interacted with a White House intern during the post-midterm elections press conference
President Trump believes in a free press and expects and welcomes tough questions of him and his Administration, Sanders said in a statement this evening. We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern. This conduct is absolutely unacceptable.
Acosta responded online quickly, calling Sanders assertion a lie. Even a brief glance at footage of the incident in question clearly shows Acosta this morning was rather gently trying to keep the microphone in his own hands at first to continue pursuing his query with Trump:
CNN backed its reporter tonight and said in a statement that Jim Acosta has our full support The Ted Turner founded outlet added that Acostas pass was pulled in retaliation for his challenging questions at todays press conference and not over a fraudulent incident that never happened.
This unprecedented decision is a threat to our democracy and the country deserves better, CNN asserted.
NBC News Josh Lederman called the White Houses actions a major escalation in Trumps campaign against the press. CNN producer Allie Malloy spoke up for her colleague as well:
Poster Comment:
He was asked numerous times that his time was up and to pass the mic. Instead, he tried to grandstand. There were a lot of other press people there. Trump should have just said this is over and walk away.
and not over a fraudulent incident that never happened.
Um, it did happen. The White House said, We will, however, never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job as a White House intern."
Look at the video for crying out loud. Acosta's left arm pushed down on the intern's arm to keep her from the microphone.
Liars! They are no doubt emboldened by the house now being run by the insane leftist Democrats.....in two years the voters will wake up and gladly toss them out on their asses.
Trump is right to spar with the phony news outlets!
Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.
They are no doubt emboldened by the house now being run by the insane leftist Democrats.....
During the press conference Trump told the House Democrats in plain language that if nothing happens in the next two years he will blame them since they're in control.
I predict that House Democrats will be responsible for reelecting Trump in 2020.
" Trump is right to spar with the phony news outlets! "
Agree. Next time one of those clowns assaults one of the interns, the intern should use pepper spray on them, or have a SS Uniform Officer take down the asshole "reporter / agitator "

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders tweeted a video of a press-briefing altercation involving a CNN reporter that appears to have been edited in a way that makes the reporters actions look more aggressive, according to an analysis by a social-media intelligence firm Storyful (owned by News Corp, the same company that owns FOX News).

Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning. Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.
