If Democrats take over the House in the midterm elections, Maxine Waters has some scores to settle. The California congresswoman told a group of constituents what’s in store for her enemies, should she gain the chairmanship of the Financial Services Committee. “This is the midterm election and often times people only vote in the presidential election because they don’t think this is important enough. But this is absolutely important,” she lectured. “First of all, if we take back the House, most of the members of the Congressional Black Caucus will be chairs of the committees of the Congress of the United States of America,” Waters said, waving her fingers as the audience applauded. “I will be the first African-American, the first woman to chair the powerful Financial Services Committee. “That’s all of Wall Street. That’s all the insurance companies, that’s all the banks. And so, of course, the CEOs of the banks now are saying, ‘What can we do to stop Maxine Waters because if she gets in she’s going to give us a bad time?'” she said. “I have not forgotten you foreclosed on our houses,” she warned. “I have not forgotten that you undermined our communities,” she continued with the tone of a preacher. “I have not forgotten that you sold us those exotic products, had us sign on the dotted line for junk,” she yelled, “and for mess that we could not afford.” “I have people who are homeless who have never gotten back into a home. What am I going to do to you? “What I am going to do to you is fair. I’m going to do to you what you did to us,” she vowed. Governance by retribution. What could go wrong?
Poster Comment: Putting this fool in charge of the Financial Services Committee is like handing the keys to your new Corvette to a drunken crackhead.. Democrats should NEVER be given power again! If they get the chance, they plan an endless series of REPRISALS for everyone who dared to oppose them. We will see nothing but continuous investigations, obstructions, accusations, reprimands, restrictions, and recriminations. They intend to PUNISH, not govern! They are genuinely INSANE. Vote Republican as if your life depended on it, because IT DOES.

America will go vote. Republicans +5 in the Senate, =2 in the House. Maxine will not have her gavel. (She's not wrong about the banks, btw.)

There are reasons Idiots are Useful - for one thing, they manufacture CRISIS - which then needs to be "solved". Exhibit A: "Our Boy"
Never fear. If & when they get back control, they will be cutting deals with special interests as they've always done, just as the R's have done. This is all standard campaign rhetoric designed to promote the D brand of corruption over the R brand. My prediction is the R's will prevail in both houses next week. While I'll be glad to see the D lunacy repudiated by the American voters and will also be glad to see Trump has more leeway over the next two years, if they do win, I don't think the D's will bring the doom and gloom Maxine is promising.
