Overall approval only 45%. Even lower than Rasmussen. Now even the left wing pollsters are realizing that only the dregs of society really like this guy any more.

Double digit unemployment, vacationing in Hawaii while its happening, taking months to make a decision on Afghanistan, stimulus bill that was one gigantic payoff to political supporters, tripling the deficit, allowing SEALS to be put on trial in Iraq...Obama will be lucky if he isn't in the 20 - 30% approval range by August.
45% of the nation is the dregs of society? That said, Boy Blunder had the benefit of first patriotism and then a semi- decent economy that kept his numbers artifically high...Obama is at the mercy of the economy...always been that way with POTUS'...

I guess you missed the Dims talking points and the MSM's echoing of them for 2 years leading up to the 2004 election. Bush was hardly given credit for a good economy, even though it was good. The HNIC bankrupting the country, and that's what he is being given credit for.

As usual, you don't make any sense. In post #5 you say the economy under Bush was good, yet in post 7 you link to articles from 2002 that say just the opposite.
The economy WAS good in late 2003 and 2004 when the the Dims and MSM were trying to blame Bush for a bad economy. The economy was not good in 2002, and it had nothing to do with Bush. At no time did Bush get a bump because of the economy, which was the point.
The MSM never said a bad word about the Boy Blunder and in any number of ways enabled his theft of both the 2000 and 2004 elections and were co-conspirators in the lead up to the Iraq debacle. Hell, they didn't even turn on him in 2008 when his numbers were so far in the Crapper that they sunk the Ty-de-bowl Man...

The polling firm that USA Today used claims to have given CNN their data as well. That said, you've done zipola to counter what I said which was...had the economy not turned in 03/04 Boy Blunder would have lost. In other words, padlock, had the economy been WORSE than it was, the economy would have played a BIGGER role in the election than it did.
