We just had a 40 year old Monterey Pine put on the ground, delimbed with the 3.5 foot diameter trunk cut into 2 foot lengths and the stump ground down. 1000 bucks and it took them less than five hours. We will definitely use the wood splitter on this one. And cut up the limbs on our own. We don't have a cherry picker or man lift, or a 7500 dollar stump grinder and there was pasture board fencing on the other side. They dropped it without touching a thing. In the ten years that California's pop has "declined", they have built a golf course and retirement community plus one other subdivision on the north side which has been all sold out and inhabited for at least six years. And on the southwest end towards Lakeville going to Petaluma a huge housing subdivision was just completed with still a few for sale. There is only about 25% of the land along that road not developed. There's too many stop lights for a race scene now.
