We just had a 40 year old Monterey Pine put on the ground, delimbed with the 3.5 foot diameter trunk cut into 2 foot lengths and the stump ground down. 1000 bucks and it took them less than five hours. We will definitely use the wood splitter on this one. And cut up the limbs on our own. Figure with whats already down, and what I need to take down (dead ones) I can get at least two cords cut the way I want, not the way most of the firewood outlets want to sell me.
