Marriage has always had the meaning of two being conjoined into one. The fact that it occurs most often between a man and a women does not make the definition of that word dependent upon that condition. Why should the state stand between two people who want to share their lives and thus have privileges afforded to others? Exactly what gets eroded? Your sense of outrage at something that is none of your goddammed business? The problem with that is that you have now made it look like I posted a thread titled, "Fred Mertz Banned from LP for Calling Goldi a Dickhead" when I did not. AFAIK, Fred Mertz HAS NOT been banned from LP, and I never posted that he was banned from LP. Changing the name of the thread, without indicating that you did so, makes it look like I'm posting bogus info. Not good.

I didn't delete anything. Just trying not to turn the site into a personal attack machine. Goldi is a dickhead makes this place look low class. Even the title I changed it to isn't very appropriate. Just trying to have a few standards. I was just going to delete it. Even before I read whitesands comment.
Not good. I skimmed the comments. I thought that was accurate. Do you have a better title? I mean a 1 line comment by Mertz. That says goldi is a dickhead. That is kind of stupid. If I don't do anything about it then others will come and turn this place into an insult machine and not a serious discussion place. But you do have a good point about it making you look like you chose that title. So come up with a better title please. I really don't like deleting stuff.
Here is something to note for the future. I at least try to keep the title bar somewhat clean. Insults cursing and such in the thread are pretty much ok. I think that is reasonable.
OK, understood. I thought I put the original title in quote marks, showing it was a quote. Maybe something like: Fred Mertz to Goldi: "Goldi, you're a ....." for the title. Lets the reader know that the thread is about a post from Fred to Goldi, keeps bad language out of the title, and makes the reader want to read the thread to find out what Fred called Goldi. Something like "Title edited by moderator" like you've done solves the other problem.
