Third Kavanaugh accuser Julie Swetnick just validated claims that she should be criminally prosecuted for lying in her initial sworn account alleging that Trump SCOTUS pick Brett Kavanaugh participated in "gang rapes" with his high school buddies back in the early 1980s. In an interview with NBC news, Swetnick said that while she saw Kavanaugh aggressively hit on women at parties, she denied that she actually witnessed him participate in the rapes. She also said Kavanaugh wasn't a member of a group of boys who assaulted her during one of these parties. "I cannot specifically say that he was one of the ones who assaulted me," Swetnick told Snow. "But, before this happened to me, at that party, I saw Brett Kavanaugh there, I saw Mark Judge, and they were hanging out about where I started to feel disoriented and where the room was and where the other boys were hanging out and laughing." She added that Kavanaugh is an "admitted blackout drunk and drug addict." Swetnick did not confirm that she saw Kavanaugh spike punch, one of the claims from her affidavit, she instead said that she merely "saw him around punch containers," and that she wouldn't have accepted a glass of punch if he were to hand it to her. "I don’t know what he did," she added. NBC was unable to corroborate Swetnick's claims after she provided four names to NBC News of people whom she said would confirm her accounts of the parties in the 1980s. After contacting all four, NBC reported that one said they did not remember Swetnick, one was dead and two did not respond. Swetnick's interviewer, Kate Snow, noted this before the interview and added that some details of Swetnick's account differed from her sworn affidavit. "NBC News, for the record, has not been able to independently verify her claims. There are things she told us on camera that differ from her written statements last week." However, after the interview, Snow clarified that "we're not discounting what she said in any way. We're just doing our reporting...There are a lot of people working on this." In her sworn statement, Swetnick claimed that Kavanaugh "consistently engage(d) in excessive drinking and inappropriate contact of a sexual nature with women in the early 1980s." During his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee last week, Kavanaugh described Swetnick's allegations as "a joke." Meanwhile, President Trump said Monday that Swetnick "has very little credibility," but added that if she has any credibility, she should be interviewed by the FBI. As of Monday, the FBI hadn't reached out to her or her lawyer Michael Avenatti. Still, Avenatti has insisted that his client has been 100% truthful... ...and that she has offered to take a polygraph test. Though Avenatti has insisted that he's "under no obligation" to produce any evidence of her claims.

The Democrats are proving to represent the Party of Fascism, Lies, False Witness, and anti-Ten Commandments. They are a Cabal of Thugs. You seriously underestimate your enemy if you think they are insane. The insane do not come within a cunt hair of plenary power. The Democrats are an intelligent, rational, implacable foe of yours. By behaving the way they are behaving, they have made themselves my enemies also, for the moment. "Government by Mean Girls" is not happening. Not in my country. I'm turning out and voting a straight GOP ticket this time, not because I have come around to the Republican viewpoint. I don't see the Republicans and their policies making things better. But things can will get a helluva lot worse if the Democrats with their prosecution-by-innuendo prevail. So they won't. Their defeat this time will change things. Trump will get more of his agenda. The Democrats will be unable to obstruct. The economy will soar. And Trump will have 6 more years (and if the Republicans are reasonable in their rule, they will have another 14 years) to wait for the two oldest Democrats on the court to leave. With each additional Trump appointee the Court will move further and further towards the Right. By going full retard on Kavanaugh, the Democrats have lost the country for a generation.

That's EXACTLY why the Dems are so desperate to obstruct anything/everything Agenda-Trump and Kavanaugh. They are not only going for broke because they see they will be losing big, but they have indicated they are about to start a hot CW2. I disagree. Things got much better under FDR, with Social Security, the FDIC, the SEC and the 1933 Act, 1934 Act, 1940 Act - all regulating the financial markets; Glass Steagal, Unemployment Insurance, and of course ultimately outfoxing the Republican isolationists and getting the US fully economically engaged in the war through Lend Lease long before Pearl Harbor. Things got better under JFK/LBJ too, with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Amendment of the same year, Medicare and Medicaid. The economy was pretty good under Clinton. Obama's insurance initiative was flawed, but universal Medicare is the answer to the health care crisis. So no, things have not always gotten worse and much worse under Dem governance. I agree that the Republican focus on national security is much better than the Democrat on the subject. I think that Democrat notions of social welfare and financial market regulation have been much superior to Republican notions of the same thing. Republicans are better on national integrity (border control), but they haven't been all that great. I see it as a much more mixed bag than you do. Both parties have a lot wrong with them. Right now, the Democrats have gone far beyond the pale with the MeToo witch hunt against Kavanaugh. That element in the Democrat Party has reached its high water mark and needs to be defeated in this upcoming election.
Though Avenatti has insisted that he's "under no obligation" to produce any evidence of her claims.
