The world offers many answers to these questions: from reincarnation, to becoming a ghost, to ceasing to exist. Poster Comment: Worth a half-hour of your time. NOT boring. Food for thought for everyone -- Believers and non-Believers alike. And...I like charts. Just because our bodies (our "spirit-containers") eventually degrade and die, it does not mean *we* die. Who "we" are -- our spirit - merely moves onto our next body/container and realm. Are you ready? Shouldn't we give the what happens beyond the grave our full attention, scrutiny and deep consideration? If we make decisions that are "forever" irreversible, shouldn't this subject be a wee bit more important to examine than our stock and IRA portfolio? 11:59:59PM on the clock is still not too late.

When we die, our bodies go into a deep sleep. Our spirit remains with our deep sleep bodies until the day of Judgment by our creator who will return to take our spirits and leave our decayed bodies behind because we cannot take our physical bodies with us. Our physical bodies are unclean. The only thing that will be revived is our spirits which belong to God. From there He will be the judge of us. Until that day happens, whether you die of natural causes or by serious trauma, you remain in a deep sleep until the day of Judgment.
