Title: Third Woman, Julie Swetnick, Makes Allegations Against Supreme Court Nominee Brett Kavanaugh In declaration, woman alleges she was drugged, raped at 1982 party where Kavanaugh was present

A woman alleged in a sworn declaration Wednesday that she witnessed efforts by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and others in the early 1980s to spike drinks and “cause girls to become inebriated” so they could be assaulted. She also alleged that she was a victim of a gang rape at a party at which Mr. Kavanaugh was present.

The new allegations were made public the day before a pivotal hearing on Capitol Hill that could determine whether Judge Kavanaugh has enough votes in the Senate to be confirmed to the high court.

The woman, Julie Swetnick, alleged that in 1981-82, she became aware of efforts by Mr. Kavanaugh and a high-school friend, Mark Judge, to “‘spike’ the ‘punch’” at house parties she attended with drugs “and/or grain alcohol” and subsequently “target” women.

In a statement released by the White House on Wednesday, Judge Kavanaugh called the allegations “ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone.” Of Ms. Swetnick, he said: “I don’t know who this is and this never happened.” Mr. Judge’s lawyer denied the allegations.

On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee posted Judge Kavanaugh’s prepared testimony for the hearing on Thursday. In the testimony, he said he “drank beer with my friends, usually on weekends. Sometimes I had too many.” He added: “In retrospect, I said and did things in high school that make me cringe now,” but repeated that he never engaged in any sexual assault.

Ms. Swetnick said she attended more than 10 house parties in the Washington area between 1981 and 1983 with Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge, where she watched them “drink excessively and engage in highly inappropriate conduct, including being overly aggressive with girls” and grabbing them “without their consent.”

She said that in 1982, she was drugged and raped by a group of boys and that Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge were present. Ms. Swetnick doesn’t allege that Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge engaged in the rape but said they were “present” when she was victimized.

Ms. Swetnick said she told at least two other people about her assault shortly after it occurred. She said she believed she was drugged “using Quaaludes or something similar placed in what I was drinking.”

Maura Kane, who dated Judge Kavanaugh for several months when they were both 17-year-old high-school students, said in an interview Wednesday that she didn’t know Ms. Swetnick and didn’t believe such parties occurred.

“The allegations are so outrageous and insane,” Ms. Kane said in an interview. “It’s absolutely ridiculous, and we stand by Brett.”

Ms. Swetnick’s declaration was made public in a tweet by attorney Michael Avenatti, a lawyer who also represents Stephanie Clifford, the former adult- film star whom a lawyer for President Trump paid in October 2016 to keep quiet about an alleged affair with Mr. Trump.

Hours after Mr. Avenatti tweeted the sworn declaration from Ms. Swetnick, the president attacked him on Twitter.

“Avenatti is a third rate lawyer who is good at making false accusations, like he did on me and like he is now doing on Judge Brett Kavanaugh,” Mr. Trump tweeted. “He is just looking for attention and doesn’t want people to look at his past record and relationships - a total low-life!”

President Trump stands “firmly behind” Judge Kavanaugh, a White House official said, and has “no plans to pull” his nomination.

So she stood around watching drugged girls getting gang raped, and kept quiet? More than 10 times? Again and again, she witnessed brutal rapes, and continued to go to these parties, and kept quiet. And I assume she can 10+ produce girls who filed police reports and went to the Emergency Room, right?

This accusation is ridiculous. It's a badly written B-Movie script; "Fraternity of Satan!"

I hope she loses her clearance over this obvious lie.

All Democrats have filthy minds that inflame their imaginations. (1 image)

Seven Questions About the Avenatti/Swetnick Story

Given the seriousness of these allegations, why did Michael Avenatti and Julie Swetnick decline to go directly to the police?

Likewise, why did Avenatti and Swetnick bypass the press? Did anyone in the press look into this story? What did they find? The New York Times confirms that “none of Ms. Swetnick’s claims could be independently corroborated by The New York Times, and her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, declined to make her available for an interview.” Why?

Where are the witnesses? The charge is of gang rape. Leave aside the question of whether Brett Kavanaugh was involved — and forget for a moment that we’re debating whether he should be on the Supreme Court — surely there are a whole host of victims, perpetrators, and witnesses to this monstrous crime. Where are they?

Is is not a little strange that there are only two details provided, and that they are happen to be public knowledge already? The two names given are Mark Judge’s and Brett Kavanaugh’s. The time given is “BEACH WEEK,” which is listed on the calendar that Brett Kavanaugh released this morning. Why is there nothing new?

According to the New York Times, Swetnick left school in 1980, and then went on to college. Swetnick claims that she “attended at least 10 house parties in the Washington area from 1981 to 1983 where the two were present.” That means that, at the time of the alleged incident(s), she was between 18 and 20-years-old at the least, and that Kavanaugh and Judge were between 16 and 18 at the most. Why was she, an adult, attending high-school parties with minors?

Kavanaugh says that he’s never heard of the accuser. Is there anyone who can testify to the contrary? If so, how did they meet? What relationship did Kavanaugh have with her school, Gaithersburg High? Swetnick claims that she “met Judge Kavanaugh and Mr. Judge in 1980 or 1981.” Why did she, an 18- or 19-year-old, start hanging out with Kavanaugh and Judge, who were 15 or 16, depending on the year?

Why would an adult go repeatedly to parties at which minors were being gang raped, and, having figured out what was going on, resolve only to “avoid the punch”? Did Ms. Swetnick tell anybody what she had seen? Why did she keep going back?

Avenatti: I have evidence that Kavanaugh ran a gang-rape ring

Brett Kavanaugh must also be asked about this entry in his yearbook: "FFFFFFFourth of July." We believe that this stands for: Find them, French them, Feel them, Finger them, F*ck them, Forget them. As well as the term "Devil's Triangle." Perhaps Sen. Grassley can ask him. #Basta

Gee, how did the FBI miss that in six background checks? Full disclosure: My yearbooks from high school have more than one inscription that reads, “May you have all your ups and downs in bed.” At the time it was adolescent wishful thinking, bit now I’m pretty sure that disqualifies me for public service. Was that code for sexual assault, Mr. Morrissey?

It’s insane. It’s so ridiculous that one has to wonder whether Avenatti might inadvertently crash the whole anti-Kavanaugh project with the backlash. The motives behind these attacks, and their increasingly unhinged quality, have become so painfully obvious that all of the claims will lilely get wrapped up together in a blanket of absurdity.

So to summarize claims:

Swetnick graduated High School in 1980.

In 1982, as a college student, she was attending high-school parties where druggings & gang rapes occurred with regularity.

She went back to those parties 10 times.

She is just now reporting this, 37 years later.

Ok

10:43 AM - 26 Sep 2018

Swetnick was a college student at the University of Maryland in 1982.

Swetnick was allegedly an adult engaging in gang bangs with minors.

Kavanaugh vote/hearing was delayed because Ford was "scared" of flying.

"Ford's fear of flying is directly related to her allegation of assault, and that an airplane is the ultimate closed space where you cannot get away."

She flew 3,000 to Maryland for a poly in August.
How?

These stories get to be more comical farce by the day.
