Its meant to be a joke but its also has truthism that men tend to think less of their lives as they get older and more about respect. Makes me wonder are you a man? Not to meant to be degrading.

Don't worry about my masculinity, worry about your own. The point of my comment is I don't take the leftist view that people in prison are to be pitied. They got there by their own actions and I don't want to join them, so as an old man, without many years left, I don't want to end my days in the company of dickheads. Yes, I expect respect because of what I have done and endured in life. My contributions here are not the sum of my life but a diversion
