LEFT WING LOONS Title: Obama ends silence, tears into Trump: ‘How hard can it be to say Nazis are bad?’ Former president, hitting campaign trail ahead of midterms, says his successor is capitalizing on resentments in society. We should stand up to bullies, not follow them CHICAGO Former US president Barack Obama returned to the political fray on Friday, forcefully rebuking his successor Donald Trump and the Republican Party before hitting the campaign trail for Democrats. Since leaving office, Obama had avoided directly criticizing Trump and made a calculated effort not to utter his successors name. But that changed on Friday. In unusually direct terms, he made clear his concerns about politics in the Trump era and implored voters especially young people to show up at the polls in the November midterm elections. Just a glance at recent headlines should tell you this moment really is different, Obama said. The stakes really are higher. The consequences of any of us sitting on the sidelines are more dire. He later added: This is not normal. What happened to the Republican Party? Obama asked an auditorium packed with college students who greeted him with a roaring standing ovation. Theyre undermining our alliances, cozying up to Russia, he said. The former presidents remarks in Illinois came ahead of a series of campaign stops to help fellow Democrats running in the November midterm elections. Democrats are hoping to ride an anti-Donald Trump blue wave to gain seats and secure control of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of Congress, and are also battling for seats in the Senate. The speech was a preview of the arguments Obama is expected to make on the campaign trail. Nazis are bad Former Obama communications director Dan Pfeiffer said on CNN that Obama can effectively reach voters in parts of the country he won in 2012, but which voted for Trump in 2016. Obama is a great messenger to get them to vote for Democrats, Pfeiffer said. If I was the Republicans, I would be very nervous about this. In his speech, Obama criticized the divisive politics of the Trump era, decrying attacks on the freedom of the press, the justice system, and numerous other controversies. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government on September 7, 2018 in Urbana, Illinois (Scott Olson/Getty Images/AFP) It shouldnt be Democratic or Republican to say we dont target certain groups of people based on what they look like or how they pray. We are Americans. Were supposed to stand up to bullies, not follow them, he said to applause. Were supposed to stand up to discrimination, he said. And were sure as heck supposed to stand up clearly and unequivocally to Nazi sympathizers. How hard can that be, saying that Nazis are bad? Obama was referring to Trumps failure to quickly and directly condemn neo- Nazis who marched last year in Charlottesville, Virginia. The president was widely censured by officials from across the political spectrum, and later clarified that he condemned neo-Nazis and white supremacy. However according to journalist Bob Woodwards new book, he later told aides that clarification was the biggest fucking mistake Ive made and the worst speech Ive ever given. Naming Trump In an uncharacteristic move, Obama directly named Trump, saying the current president was a symptom, not the cause of broader ailments in the nations politics. Hes just capitalizing on resentments that politicians have been fanning for years, he said. Obama also criticized recent Republican policy moves such as the $1.5 trillion in tax cuts that ballooned the nations budget deficit, but which party leaders hoped would be a winning issue during midterm campaigns. Its supposed to be the party
of fiscal conservatism. Suddenly deficits do not matter, Obama said. The former president implored the young audience to vote in the upcoming election. Historically, midterms are lightly attended and Obama made a point of reminding his audience that only one in five young people voted in the 2014 midterm election. Youve got to do more than retweet a hashtag, youve got to vote, he said. You cannot sit back and wait for a savior. He said the biggest threat to democracy isnt Trump but indifference. Obama said: If you thought elections dont matter, I hope these past two years have corrected that impression. Trump, at a rally later in the day, said he had been asked what he thought of Obamas speech. Im sorry, I watched it, but I fell asleep, he said.

This creepy mystery 'person' is a traitorous dog who helps the right by his Muslim mutterings! The symptom of serious disease was the election of this running dog for the communists to the presidency TWICE! Obama is no better than the rest of the Dems; just as the show they put on at the SCOTUS appointment farce, Obama trampled the tradition of presidential behaviour. His efforts are to no avail, and on the contrary, Trump will stay in power and so will the GOP, with increased Congressional powers. Obama is one SICK puppy. Go back to your hole in the ground, Obama., or whatever your real name is!.
