He spoke to prosecutors in the investigation into Michael Cohen, but hes the one who knows all about Trumps businesses.
Trump Organization finance chief Allen Weisselberg has been granted immunity in exchange for giving prosecutors information for the investigation into Donald Trumps former personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen and the hush money payments Cohen made to women during the 2016 presidential campaign.
The Trump Organization CFOs cooperation is the latest twist in the Manhattan US attorneys offices prosecution of Cohen, which began with an FBI raid in April. This week, Cohen pleaded guilty to eight federal charges, implicating the president of the United States in those crimes.
Weisselberg is perhaps not as visible a figure in Trumpworld as Cohen, but he might be even more important. Hes served as the Trump Organizations chief financial officer since 2000 so if anyone knows about the companys financials, its him.
Weisselberg was subpoenaed in the investigation into Cohen, though it hasnt been confirmed that he has actually appearedbefore a grand jury, according to the Wall Street Journal. He has met with prosecutors, but the information hes provided including whether Trump knew about thepayments to the women is still a question.
The raid on Cohen was often seen as the biggest legal threat to Trump, but Weisselberg talking might be an even bigger problem for the president. As the New Yorkers Adam Davidson, who has covered the Trump Organization extensively, predicted: Get ready for the Autumn of Allen Weisselberg.
Weisselberg knows where all the bodies are buried
Weisselberg has worked for the Trumps for decades; before joining the company, he worked for Donald Trumps father, Fred Trump. When Trump became president, he handed over the day-to-day control of the business to his two elder sons and Weisselberg.
The CFO had previously been linked to the hush money payment to Stormy Daniels, the porn actress who says she had an affair with Trump in 2006. The charging papers in Cohens appear to confirm the connection.
Weisselberg wasnt named in the charging papers, but hes listed as Executive-1, and he arranged a $420,000 reimbursement to Cohen, which included $130,000 Cohen sent to Daniels ahead of the November 2016 election to keep her quiet about her alleged affair with Trump. Weisselberg worked with another, unidentified, Trump Organization executive to make those payments, though its unclear if Weisselberg knew the purpose of the retainer to Cohen.
He was also named on a secretly recorded tape in September 2016, in whichCohen discusses a payoff to former Playboy model Karen McDougal. At one hard-to-decipher point in the tape, Cohen can be heard telling Trump that hes spoken to Allen Weisselberg about how to set the whole thing up
At the time of the tapes release last month, Alan Futerfas, an attorney for the Trump Organization, denied to the Washington Post that Weisselberg had any involvement in the payoff and was merely a bookkeeper who simply carries out directions from others about monetary payments and transfers.
But bookkeeper might be a bit of an undersell. Weisselberg, again, took control of the Trump Organization with the presidents two sons. He was also listed as the treasurer for the Trump Foundation, which was recently sued by the New York state attorney generals officefor violating state and federal laws. Weisselberg reportedly also did Trumps personal tax returns for at least some years.
Which means if theres something sketchy in Trumps finances, or the finances of the Trump Organization, Weisselberg likely knows about it. He is deeply familiar with the Trump Organizations financial housekeeping, Timothy L. OBrien, the author of TrumpNation, wrote in Bloomberg on Friday. Trump a man who rarely trusts anyone confided in Weisselberg and relied on him to sign off on details of the companys most significant deals.
A former Trump Organization employee told NBC reporter Katy Tur last month, after news of his subpoena broke, that Weisselberg knows where all financial bodies are buried within the Trump organization. He knows Trumps net worth. He knows any and every expenditure out of Trump Org was approved by Alan [sic].
And that might be of interest not just to prosecutors in the Southern District of New York but to special counsel Robert Mueller. Mueller has reportedly been interested in the finances and business activities of the Trump Organization, including a failed attempt to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. And Weisselberg might have some answers.
Trump Organization finance chief Allen Weisselberg has been granted immunity in exchange for giving prosecutors information for the investigation into Donald Trumps former personal lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen and the hush money payments Cohen made to women during the 2016 presidential campaign.
REALITY: [Paragraph 4]
Weisselberg was subpoenaed in the investigation into Cohen, though it hasnt been confirmed that he has actually appeared before a grand jury, according to the Wall Street Journal. He has met with prosecutors, but the information hes provided including whether Trump knew about the payments to the women is still a question.
It is unknown what Weisselberg may have said. It is unknown why he was granted immunity. He could have been granted immunity to force him to testify by taking away his fifth amendment defense.
Paragraph 1 is a bunch of speculation unsupported by the cited WSJ article.
And let's be honest, it really won't matter who is next in line.
Once the end game plays out, the congress and the WH will simply tread water until 2020.
In your fevered, TDS-afflicted alleged mind, what is "The End Game"? And whom or what do you see as its author?
IF you're actually interested in truth at all and the political force behind the scene that pull the levers of power, you may want to take a listen of the Matt Bracken vid I just posted.
He explains just how the SES (Gangsta Shadow Govt) and its ongoing collective mass mind-control and molding public opinion takes shape.
Bracken notes that when the MSM (and specifically, The New York Times) first heard of Hillary's "Russia-Trump election tampering", they ridiculed it. But that was before they received their orders from their masters, this SES org. Afterward, the entire SES-controlled Media got their script to parrot each other on this "TRUMP-RUSSIA!!" narrative, at times word-for-word.AND the 24/7 smear of Trump, his family, and anyone connected TO him.
Upon listening to Bracken's explanation, you may resent being so effortlessly manipulated into taking a certain (Dem-Left) viewpoint and demonizing of Trump so effortlessly that had ZERO basis of fact...without knowing why or how it happened.
After the sexual encounter, she saw the President masturbate in the bathroom near the sink.
I understand - you LOVE to fantasize about this - but come on!!!
Either YOU do something about it, or let it go!
No One Cares
That's like no one really, really care is you watch gay porn while you post and occasionally get your links screwed up. Everyone just enjoys seeing your hypocrisy exposed.
But as long as no one cares, have a fuller description of your jerk off hero in the White House.
I have to second Jameson on this one - I don't care about Clinton's consensual sexual encounters with Monica back in the 1990s. I barely cared then, and I really don't care now.
Having an affair disqualifies a man from the Presidency? Nah.

I could not possibly care less about what you, Jameson, or others may or may not second or third. And, of course, the whole diversion has not a thing to do with what does, or does not, disqualify a man from the Presidency.
The thread, entitled "Weisselberg Flips," contains a thread article which is a riff on a WSJ article, but with unsupported and unsupportable nonsense added to give the appearance of ethereal support to the title claim.
In fact, not a scintilla of evidence appears to support the claim that Weisselberg has flipped. I pointed to that lack of substance of the article at #10.
Jameson diversion #1 was at #16 when he opimed about why Weisselberg was granted immunity, "Perhaps it has to do with the 1,000,000 files, documents, recordings, videos, etc. in possession of Mr. Mueller and SDNY."
Of course, if the alleged 1,000,000 files, documents, etc., were as usable as criminal evidence as they are at a fish and chip shop for wrapping fish, there would be no need at all to grant anyone immunity. Jameson's claim of pre-existing overwhelming evidence is bass ackwards as justification for a grant of immunity. If you have the evidence, you do not need to grant immunity to get the evidence.
At #19, we have Jameson diversion #2.
Ryan would probably love to see Dip-Shit Donnie and his closeted gay companion mikey pence go down....(pun intended!!)
At #32, we have Jameson's continuation of the theme of
"Dip Shit Donnie ... and his merry band of jerk-offs."
At #34, we have the Jameson continuation of the gay theme,
My point was quite easy to understand - for anyone of average intelligence -
Pence is very obviously a bitter closeted gay man, who hates being in the closet so much that he takes every opportunity to rant against any thing or any one he perceives as "homosexual"
It's a sick pattern in the republican world......
and Mike Pence is typical.
I do not really give a shit about Jameson's bullshit diversionary claims about Dip Shit Donnie, his merry band of jerk-offs, and Mike Pence obviously being a bitter closeted gay man. I do not really care if you and others fall for Jameson's bullshit and divert all attention away from the actual topic of the thread, and its utter baselessness.
If Jameson wishes to divert and trash the thread with bullshit about Trump and Pence, I will leave a big stinking pile of poo about Clinton and Obama, and Jameson's intent is not to create such a memorial to his heroes. Ahh, the vivid images of Clinton and Lewinsky, once seen, cannot be unseen. It is like unseeing Obama showing off his hardon.
I suppose that whether one prefers to discuss the actual thread topic of Weisselberg Flips, or to delve deeply into claims about Dip Shit Donnie, his merry band of jerk-offs, and Mike Pence obviously being a bitter closeted gay man; and Clinton's having engaged in oral-anal sex with an intern, and jerking off in a White House sink, whatever.
The thread is no longer about Weisselberg Flips, so why not just have some fun at Jameson's expense? Yes indeed, if he is to drop little stinkers here and there, I feel free to drop Clinton poo bombs to provide the proper balance.
Please feel free to continue the thoughtful thread discussion of Weisselberg Flips.
I feel free to drop Clinton poo bombs to provide the proper balance.
LOL!!! Thanks for the rant Chan!
You're one funny guy!
Listen, sorry for using Willie's serious article as a vehicle for more of my hilarious bad-mouthing of The king of Shit-Holes, Dip-Shit Donnie.
I promise to take all this stuff seriously, soon....or eventually....
"Clinton poo bombs" - pretty funny, but I think you can do better! keep it up!
We're all really impressed that you're an attorney.....and we're really in awe of you when you copy and paste a bunch of legalese, I almost always think to myself, "Gee.....Chan must be the smartest lawyer in the country.... I wonder if he gets a woody every time he pastes 4 or 500 words, nicely formatted and including BOLD and italics....."
Anyway.......
Ok so... "If you have the evidence, you do not need to grant immunity to get the evidence."
............maybe.......the prosecutor has a few hundred thousand pages pertaining to the Dip-Shit Organization, that document criminal activity....
Implicated are the organization's CFO & Vice President,
perhaps it would be a good idea to speak to those implicated on the record.....right?
Knowing that the CFO could certainly invoke the right that allows witnesses to decline to answer questions where the answers might incriminate them.........
The offer of immunity seems like a fairly smart move......
but what do I know? I learned everything I know about law from watching "Better Call Saul"

Thank you ever so much for the compliment. I promise to one day take you seriously. It is not that day yet.
We're all really impressed that you're an attorney.....and we're really in awe of you when you copy and paste a bunch of legalese, I almost always think to myself, "Gee.....Chan must be the smartest lawyer in the country.... I am seriously impressed that you find the time to expend blathering about things of which you have no knowledge whatever.
In my 20 years on the net, I have never claimed to be a lawyer. You fount of non-knowledge is your apparent observation that I, like most people, can use the google better than you, and that I have more legal knowledge than you. If that showed one was a lawyer, this entire board would be lawyers. Do keep up the effort to show your lack of knowledge. Perhaps I should type sower to make easier for you to keep up.
Ok so... "If you have the evidence, you do not need to grant immunity to get the evidence."
............maybe.......the prosecutor has a few hundred thousand pages pertaining to the Dip-Shit Organization, that document criminal activity....
Implicated are the organization's CFO & Vice President,
And maybe you are just shoveling more shit. What is fact is that there has been no announcement of any indictment based on your slleged few hundred thousand pages of fish wrap. They did not even indict Michael Cohen.
While the alleged fish wrap has not been seen, and you have no actual knowledge of anything in it, you are certain in your empty cranium that the alleged hundreds of thousands of pages document criminal activity, and implicated are the organization's CFO and Vice-President. How you know this remains a mystery. That the basis of your assertions is bullshit is clear and knowable.
A prosecutor with hundreds of thousands of pages documenting criminal activity has no need to offer immunity to obtain proof.
Knowing that the CFO could certainly invoke the right that allows witnesses to decline to answer questions where the answers might incriminate them.........
The offer of immunity seems like a fairly smart move......
but what do I know? I learned everything I know about law from watching "Better Call Saul"
If you have hundreds of thousands of pages documenting criminal activity, implicating the CFO & Vice President, you may prosecute the CFO & Vice President and let him remain mute or beg for a deal. The dumbest idea on earth is to offer him immunity not knowing what he is going to say.
It does sound like you learned your law by watching Better Call Saul. It's all good, man. As a reasonable alternative, you could consider buying a lawbook and reading it. Nah. Stick with Saul.
I wonder if you get a woody when posting some dumb ignorance such as,
Pence is very obviously a bitter closeted gay man, who hates being in the closet so much that he takes every opportunity to rant against any thing or any one he perceives as "homosexual"
It's a sick pattern in the republican world......
and Mike Pence is typical.
Or do you only get a chubby when watching your gay porn?
Whatever. I feel your pain when you are faced with Slick Willie's oral-anal sex and jerking off into a sink. But then one can sympathize with his need for windowless hallway sex considering what awaited him in bed. Oh well, it wasn't a wookie.
I really do feel your pain. Honestly and sincerely, I feel your pain.
And I recognize your finely honed skill at hijacking threads.
