Title: New Cohen Tape Surfaces a Bigger Trump Fish

Allen Weisselberg knows far more than the president’s former lawyer.

About two months before Election Day in 2016, Donald Trump and his former lawyer (and self-described “fixer”) Michael Cohen were chatting about how to convince a former Playboy model, Karen McDougal, to keep quiet about what she described as a long-term affair with the presidential candidate.

“We’ll have to pay,” Cohen said, according to a recording of the conversation that CNN obtained and broadcast Tuesday night.

“Pay with cash,” Trump appears to respond.

“No, no,” Cohen says. Earlier in the conversation Cohen suggested that he “open a company for the transfer of all of that info” to the National Enquirer and its parent company, American Media Inc. AMI’s chairman, David Pecker, is a friend of the president and he is also referred to on the tape. The Enquirer had already purchased McDougal’s account of her affair with Trump earlier in 2016 and then never published it. Trump and Cohen appear to be discussing a second payment to McDougal (and there is no indication that it was ever made).

“I’ve spoken to Allen Weisselberg about how to set the whole thing up,” Cohen tells Trump. “So, I’m all over that. And, I spoke to Allen about it.”

Weisselberg isn’t a bit player in Trumplandia and his emergence on the Cohen- Trump recording – as someone possibly facilitating a scheme apparently meant to disguise a payoff – should worry the president. Weisselberg has detailed information about the Trump Organization’s operations, business deals and finances. If he winds up in investigators’ crosshairs for secreting payoffs, he could potentially provide much more damaging information to prosecutors than Cohen ever could about the president’s dealmaking.

Cohen, of course, already is reportedly being investigated by federal prosecutors in New York for possibly engaging in bank fraud, wire fraud and campaign finance violations. To the extent that his legal travails spill over onto the president, it’s worrisome to the White House. But campaign finance violations aren’t likely to be as threatening to Trump as more serious transgressions such as, for example, obstruction of justice or exchanging policy favors for financial gain.

Moreover, Cohen has only worked for Trump since 2006, and he never operated as a traditional lawyer. Instead, he brought potential licensing deals to the president's attention for years and also worked with the career criminal and Trump business partner Felix Sater on a proposal for a Trump project in Moscow. (Sater and Cohen, childhood friends, also paired up to push an initiative to end economic sanctions against Russia imposed because of its military annexation of part of Ukraine; Putin, according to my Bloomberg News colleagues, reportedly discussed a plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine during his private meeting with Trump in Helsinki last week.)

My math produces the expected results,

Time is a derivative function of state-change that progresses relative to E in the inertial frame(s) in which it is observed.

Yes, your cartoons and data entry produce the completely incompetent and ignorant bullshit we have come to know and expect. You are a dumb fuck idiot....

... in addition to being a lying sack of shit fraud who claimed to know the Einsteinian math of the General and Special theory of relativity, and the theoretical math of time travel, and calculus, while you have actually demonstrated for all to see that you are incapable of using the high school trig necessary to solve for two sides of a right triangle given one side and one acute angle.

If lying were a crime, you would be a bigger crook than Hillary.

Like the intellectual whore that you are, you want to start all over as a virgin and peddle your wares on a new street corner.

Two Sides were known:

338 elevation 1290.583333333 approximate distance to target on field.

5 tenths
8 hundredths
3 thousandths
3 ten thousandths
3 hundred thousandths
3 millionths
3 ten millionths
3 hundred millionths
3 billionths

So you scraped your known approximate distance off an outhouse wall, where the approximate distance was given to nine decimal places, or measured to the billionth of a foot. Get the fuck out of here.

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

As for 1290.583333333 feet being a known approximate distance for the shooter, what source, or sources, did that figure come from, and why do you consider it so authoritative that you assume it as a given measure????

Did you scrape it off an outhouse wall at MIT, Rensselaer, or Cal Poly?

A Google search of "1290.583333333" hits nothing but the three current threads on Liberty's Flame.

Without quotation marks is the same.

1290.58 Las Vegas Shooter returns zero hits including 1290.58.

The only apparent source of your magic number, inaccurate to 9 decimal places, is yourself doing direct data entry of the bullshit magic number you invented.

When asked for your math, you sink to your usual yukon bullshit.

Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said the weapons found in Paddock's hotel room ranged in caliber from .223 to .308. The concert venue for the Route 91 Harvest Festival was approximately 1,100 feet away from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay.

The trigonometry of terror: Why the Las Vegas shooting was so deadly

By Geoffrey Mohan
Los Angeles Times
Oct 04, 2017 | 9:54 AM

Arthur B. Alphin is well acquainted with the trigonometry of terror.

The retired Army lieutenant colonel and West Point graduate, who has a mechanical engineering degree and specialized in ballistics, has testified in many multiple-shooting cases.

What he sees so far about Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock is a patient, well-trained gunner who did not pick and choose his targets, but held to a steady kill zone centered in the middle of thousands of concertgoers.

Once the trigger was pulled, simple laws of physics and trigonometry sealed the fate of more than 500 people who would fall wounded in the ensuing fracas — 59 of them fatally.

"He had a huge area of three, four or five football fields with people standing shoulder to shoulder," Alphin said. "He was not aiming at any individual person. He was just throwing bullets in a huge 'beaten zone.'"

Beaten zone is an infantry term dating to World War I. Shaped like the area a searchlight casts across a flat surface, it represents the area where bullets can strike, and moves substantially with tiny changes in the tilt of the gun.

If the shooter shifted by about 1 degree, or the width of two fingers held at arm's length, Alphin said, the beaten zone would fall outside the crowd.

"That's all the distance you have to move and you aren't hitting anybody," Alphin said. "So he had to be pointing or aiming at the very center of mass and then bouncing all over with the recoil."

From a perch 320 feet above ground in a hotel whose base was about 1,050 feet from the concert venue, Paddock was firing down the 1,098-foot hypotenuse of a right triangle — and would have to adjust his aim for the arc of the bullet over that distance.

How the Las Vegas mass shooting happened — hundreds of shots from 1,200 feet away

By Jason Silverstein
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Oct 02, 2017 | 4:38 PM

The gunman who killed at least 58 people and injured more than 500 at an outdoor Las Vegas concert Sunday fired hundreds of rounds from an automatic rifle within mere minutes — and from more than 1,000 feet away.

[snip]

http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/politics/2017/10/why_the_las_vegas_shooting_was_a_nightmare_scenario_for_police_and_security.html

The second lesson from Las Vegas is that the geometry of Paddock’s attack rendered security measures ineffective—even those of Las Vegas, a city with thousands of armed police and security guards on duty around the clock, surveillance cameras covering nearly every inch of ground, and a sophisticated police department with a robust SWAT capability. Paddock apparently fired on concertgoers from a room on the 32nd story of the Mandalay Bay hotel, across the street and approximately 400 meters from the concert.

400 meters is approximately 1312.3 feet.

Gunman’s Vantage Point and Preparations Opened the Way for Mass Slaughter

By C. J. Chivers, Thomas Gibbons-Neff and Adam Goldman

Oct. 2, 2017

From his hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Stephen Paddock would have looked down upon a crowd of more than 20,000 people, surging to the final sets of a country music festival.

He opened fire late Sunday, killing at least 59 people and injuring 527 others in one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history, the authorities said.

But what may have seemed like a difficult feat, firing across an urban area and into a crowd from about 500 yards away — the equivalent of several football fields — appears to have been offset by Mr. Paddock’s preparations, which made it possible for him to inflict mass carnage.

[snip]

About 500 yards away is about 1500 feet away.

- - - - - - - - - -

For an actual KNOWN distance, where angle A is 14.70°, and side a of a right triangle is 338 feet,

tan A = tan(14.70) = 0.2623450889 = opp/adj = a/b

0.2623450889 = 338/b

b = 338 / 0.2623450889

b = 1288.379369

- - - - - - - - - -

Or,

tan B = tan(75.30) = 3.81177328 = opp/adj = b/a

3.81177328 = b/338

b = 338 * 3.81177328

b = 1288.379369

- - - - - - - - - -

side b is not approximately 1290.58 to any number of imaginary decimal places.

side b is 1288.379369.

For someone who claims abilities in Einstein's General and Special Theories of Relativity, Calculus, and the theoretical physics math of time travel, you exhibit an inability to do basic high school math when called upon to calculate the sides and angles of a right triangle with angle A of 14.70° and side a of 338 feet.

Your donkey sure has a hard time with details and decimal precision settings.

What a congenital fuckwit. You make up an incorrect side b to 9 decimal places of inaccuracy and imprecision, and fail to realize you still look like a monkey fucking a football in the middle of the stadium. Keep fucking that football. Keep demonstrating you can only talk about math but can't do it.

Approximate to 9 decimal places of inaccuracy! Approximate to the billionth of the wrong foot! You are good for comic relief.

Dershowitz on Alleged Trump Collusion: Robert Mueller 'Inventing a Crime'

Fox News
April 3, 2018
Hannity (video at link)

Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz reacted to reports that Special Counsel Robert Mueller is investigating President Donald Trump for possible collusion, but does not consider Trump a criminal target in the probe.

Dershowitz, a longtime Democrat who supported Hillary Clinton in 2016, said Mueller would be "inventing a crime" to charge Trump in that case.

"There's no such crime as 'collusion' in the federal statute," he said.

Dershowitz: President Donald Trump Should Not Be Impeached Even If He Colluded With Russia | Opinion

By Alan Dershowitz
Newsweek
On 7/9/18 at 2:56 PM

[excerpt]

What if President Donald Trump were to be impeached for colluding with Russia during the presidential campaign? If there were proof of such collusion—and to date I have seen none—that would be a serious political sin. An American should not collude with a foreign power, especially a hostile foreign power, in an effort to enhance his candidacy. But there is a dispositive difference between a political sin and a high crime and misdemeanor. There is no such crime of collusion in the context of an election. Collusion may entail other crimes, such as election law violations or accessory to crimes such as hacking. But collusion itself is simply not a crime.

That horse is dead, you should stop beating it now.

So, why do you think that DD45 continues to tweet the words "no collusion"?

Do you think it is possible that he actually believes the lies that he tells?

Does the fact that he allowed (probably directed) his son and campaign manager to meet with representatives of a hostile foreign power compromise his role of POTUS?

Do think it is probable that he has always been compromised through his greasy financing deals with the russian mobsters (redundant, I know!)

Does this individual deserve our trust or confidence?

Who will be the first one to flip, Donnie JR or Kushner?

Of course, this could be all about nothing....after all Rosanne Barr is a big fan....

People for reasons and that's usually (not always) for something they think will benefit "THEM".

Some people do vote for what is best for the country and sometimes it doesn't always benefit them but it's the right thing to do. The problem is some of the reasons are silly and only benefit a small portion of the people. In essence they're being selfish and not seeing the big picture, what is the best thing to do for the majority of the population of this country.

Now why would he resign when he's having so much fun embarrassing/pulling the Lefts chain and doing encouraging things for the country?

The biggest reasons some people want to see him gone are for what I just said. They're nothing more than a big bunch of babies who believe the lies they've been fed their entire lives and are too stupid to admit they've been such big fools. So to soothe their egos they have to "try" to destroy Trump and those who voted for him. Now if that isn't immature I have no idea what really could be considered childish...

Just because there is no federal crime, doesn't mean it didn't happen

It just comes down to whether or not you think it's "OK"

Is there a chance that the WH 5 entered into a criminal conspiracy to illegally change the outcome of an election?

Perhaps?

Let me ask you this, what do you think Rudy meant when he said DS45 wasn't physically at the "meeting" with the russian mobsters?

Do you think DS45 was on the speakerphone???

and since team "rudy patootie" is now admitting that DS Donnie knew about the meeting....that would make donnie jr. and maybe kushner liars...under oath, to the FBI.

But this is probably all fake news right?

There is no Federal crime of collusion. Nobody can be charged with a crime that does not exist. Any criminal indictment would have to cite a real life criminal statute.

There is the Federal crime of conspiracy.

Conspiracy. A combination or confederacy between two or more persons formed for the purpose of committing, by their joint efforts, some unlawful or criminal act, or some act which is lawful in itself, but becomes unlawful when done by the concerted action of the conspirators, or for the purpose of using criminal or unlawful means to commission of an act not in itself unlawful.

Just because there is no federal crime, doesn't mean it didn't happen

The great, the magnificant President Donald J. Trump had dinner last evening. Just because it is not a crime does not mean it did not happen. It means it is not news.

It just comes down to whether or not you think it's "OK"

It comes down to whether there is a criminal statute of collusion.

Is there a chance that the WH 5 entered into a criminal conspiracy to illegally change the outcome of an election?

No. The great, the magnificent President Donald J. Trump beat the crap out of the side of beef dragged out of and thrown back into the Scooby ambulance fair and square.

There was a conspiracy to change the Democratic Primary election. Bernie got screwed.

Perhaps?

No, defniitely. Bernie got screwed.

Let me ask you this, what do you think Rudy meant when he said DS45 wasn't physically at the "meeting" with the russian mobsters?

He meant the the great, the magnificent President Donald J. Trump was not there in all or any of his corporeal glory.

Do you think DS45 was on the speakerphone???

No.

and since team "rudy patootie" is now admitting that DS Donnie knew about the meeting....that would make donnie jr. and maybe kushner liars...under oath, to the FBI.

Fake news.

But this is probably all fake news right?

If you knew it was very fake news, why did you say it?

Giuliani: Trump Did Not Know In Advance About Russia Meeting In Trump Tower, "Shocked" By Cohen

Posted By Ian Schwartz
On Date July 26, 2018

CNN: Rudy Giuliani responds to reports that Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former personal attorney, claims that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton.

In an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo, Giuliani likened the Trump-Cohen situation to George Washington and Benedict Arnold and Caesar and Brutus, adding the president was "completely shocked" by his former attorney's decision to leak tapes to the press.

"The man is a liar," Giuliani said of Cohen. "A proven liar. There's no way you're going to bring down the president of the United States on the testimony uncorroborated of a proven liar. I guarantee you this guy is a proven liar."

"We all make mistakes about people that turn out to be disloyal to us," he said. "You know, Benedict Arnold was disloyal to George Washington, the greatest president, right? So, anybody can Brutus and Caesar. I mean, you can go back to ancient classical literature and you can find people you trust and they turn out to be scoundrels. I saw the president when he first found out that he had been taped, and the president was completely shocked."

Giuliani denies Trump knew anything about the infamous Trump Tower meeting with Russians:

CUOMO: He says he didn't know about the meeting. Maybe he did.

GIULIANI: You've got to make a case against him first. You haven't made a case against him.

CUOMO: But that is going to be --

GIULIANI: No, it's not. It's not a case when a liar says something. This guy's testimony will be worth nothing.

CUOMO: Well, hold on a second. If the president knew about that meeting at Trump Tower in advance --

GIULIANI: He didn't.

CUOMO: If he did, it matters Rudy. It does.

GIULIANI: It does. It's not a smoking gun. It matters.

CUOMO: That's not the bar. It matters. It's proof, and it's also proof that he's been lying to the American people.

GIULIANI: He didn't know about it. I know that. I’ve been over this in great detail. I’ve talked to the corroborating witnesses. This guy is walking into a trap. But --

CUOMO: You've talked to the other people that were in the room?

GIULIANI: Of course I did. Months ago. A month ago. Two months ago.

CUOMO: And you know what they say the president was told and not told by his son?

GIULIANI: I know what they say, yes.

CUOMO: All right, fine. Then I accept your word at that. We'll see what you can do to prove it.

GIULIANI: And I know that he's walking into a situation in which there will be no corroboration.

Gosh almighty, why didn't he tape it? He taped everything else. He's got a hundred tapes. Why didn't he tape that?

Maybe he did. Maybe he's got a tape of that that he erased. Did you ever think of that?

CUOMO: No.

GIULIANI: You don't think he would erase a tape?

CUOMO: Maybe he would. I don't know.

Giuliani Admits Prep Session Before Trump Tower Meeting July 30, 2018 at 12:36 pm EDT By Taegan Goddard 212 Comments

Rudy Giuliani told CNN that two days before the Trump Tower meeting with a Russian lawyer to get “dirt” on Hillary Clinton there was a planning meeting to prepare that meeting. It included Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, Rick Gates and others.

That meeting would have been on June 7th, the same day Donald Trump teased an upcoming speech — which ultimately never happened — where he would reveal new information on the Clintons.

Josh Marshall: “If nothing else, it suggests that the Trump team took the planned encounter with the Russian government emissary much more seriously than they’ve suggested to date. And then there’s Rick Gates, Manafort’s deputy. As we know, Gates is now a cooperating witness. Big problem for the Trump Team, if he was at such a planning meeting.”

So there was this planning meeting, and DSD had no idea what was going on....

and.....he tweeted about soon having some dirt on HRC......

Sure - that checks out.

If you have some collusion fetish, fill in the blank. The crime of collusion is 18 U.S.C. § _____.

Rudy Giuliani denies second Trump camp meeting with Russians happened

by Steven Nelson
Washington Examiner

President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani says "the scoundrel" Michael Cohen alleges there was a meeting among top Trump campaign officials days ahead of an infamous Trump Tower meeting in June 2016 with Russians teasing dirt on Hillary Clinton.

Giuliani said Monday the previously unreported meeting never happened, and that then-candidate Trump didn't attend it. Giuliani said during an unscheduled call to Fox News that he wanted to discuss the allegation first to control the public narrative.

"Why did I mention it? Because first of all, I thought it was going to come out. Second, my experience is that when you have something like this floating around, it comes out. I don't want to come out and be unreported when it originally comes out," Giuliani said.

I was thinking it's from smoking too much dope but I suppose it could be PTSD. The night Trump got elected probably triggered that little handout dissipation light in the corner of his eye, it started flashing rapidly and he's been freaking ever since. Hence the need to find some bullshit reason to get rid of Trump.

[Sater joined Bayrock in 2001, and over the next eight years, he worked with members of the Trump family — Donald, Ivanka, and Donald Jr. -- on multiple real estate deals.

Trump partnered with Bayrock on at least four major failed ventures in the United States (but also pursued development in Russia

Notice how the email from Sater, the convicted racketeer,  constructs a disconnect between "Putin's team" and Trump?
