LEFT WING LOONS Title: “Certain Members” of the Media Work for the Democrats (Amazing!) In an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham this week, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA) said he was not impressed or swayed by media analysts who claim that this weekend’s dump of FISA documents proves that the FBI conducted a clean investigation and relied on strong intelligence to secure a surveillance warrant against Carter Page. Nunes maintained that the document dump only proved his theory that the FBI misled the court about the provenance of the Steele Dossier and relied almost exclusively on the dossier to secure the warrant. The dossier, of course, being a piece of political propaganda paid for by the DNC and the Clinton campaign. In the interview, Ingraham read from a Lawfare blog written by David Kris. In the blog, Kris insisted that the FBI went out of their way to inform the FISA Court about the origin of the dossier. “Now we can see that the footnote disclosing Steele’s possible bias takes up more than a full page in the applications, so there is literally no way the FISA Court could have missed it,” Kris wrote. “The FBI gave the court enough information to evaluate Steele’s credibility.” Nunes said that he was unimpressed by Lawfare’s analysis. “One of the things you have to realize with all of the press,” he said. “Certain members of the press work for the Democratic Party. And the Lawfare blog is one of them. Every day there’s a new attack. I don’t put a lot of credibility into what they say. “The fact of the matter is you have to present verified information to the court,” he continued. “Let’s not forget, to open up a counterintelligence investigation into a campaign, unprecedented. But then to use these invasive types of capabilities on an American citizen that should be very, very seldom used. In this case, not only did they use it, but they used it with information from the other candidate’s campaign, and it wasn’t verified.” Exactly. In the Lawfare blog (and they certainly aren’t the only Opposition Party members using this line of attack), they make a big deal about what amounts to a small footnote in a 400+ page document. Nowhere in that footnote does it say that this dossier was purchased by the Clinton campaign for the purposes of denigrating Donald Trump. It merely makes reference to the “likely” political motives of the people behind the dossier. This is like saying it’s “likely” you’ll drown if you try to swim across the Atlantic Ocean. The FBI covered themselves, yes, but they were clearly trying to include as little information about the source of the dossier as they could. They knew that with every additional disclosure they made, their chances of getting this warrant plummeted considerably. And it is only because of extremely biased journalism that the majority of the American people have not been told these simple facts already.
Poster Comment: The Obama WH had over 20 employees who had marital ties to prominent media personalities and CEOs. It made it easier for him to control the narrative and to spoon-feed the public what he wanted us to think, plus using the media to hide all his scandals and blatant law-breaking.
