On Monday, Special Counsel Robert Mueller revealed the names of five witnesses who have received immunity in exchange for testimony against former Trump campaign aide Paul Manafort.

They are Dennis Raico, Cindy Laporta, Conor O’Brien, Donna Duggan, James Brennan, according to Reuters.

None of the witnesses have high public profiles, but all appear to have links either to Manafort’s political consulting company or financial ventures.

1. Dennis Raico worked with Federal Savings Bank (FSB), a Chicago bank that supplied Manafort with a $16 million dollar loan, TPM reported. In 2017, Raico was sued for $78,750.00 for fraudulent inducement and breach of good faith covenant over a loan in a property deal.

2. Cindy Laporta is an accountant affiliated with KWC accounting services, which are named as tax organizers for Manafort starting in 2012. The Mueller indictment contains an email chain between Laporta and others regarding Manafort’s “Int’l Income Question.”

3. Conor O’Brien is primarily cited in the indictment in relation to email chains linked to DMP International. Manafort co-founded Davis Manafort Partners (DMP) in 2005, to engage in political consulting, with staff in the US, Ukraine and Russia.

4. Donna Duggan appears in email chains about Chubb insurance, a Zurich based insurance company that focuses on property insurance.

5. James Brennan: In an email from Dennis Raico to James Brennan sent on December 7th, 2016, the two discussed “moving forward with Manafort’s Brooklyn property.”

You've got to ask yourself, if you are a reasonably intelligent individual, why would Degenerate Donnie make this greasy scammer his Campaign Chairman?

You DO, of course know the answer, even if you are unwilling to admit the truth to yourself........

These 5 individuals cooked the books for scumbag, un-American Manafort - and now they will admit their complicity in the greasy Russian Back-channel deals under oath.

Unless Manafort cuts HIS deal and tells all he knows about all the greasy Russian financed deals the orange russian is into....

Yeah, fake news, witch hunt, no collusion..... if you believe what the orange russian is shouting!

You are part of the problem.

I don't care.

I don't care if there was collusion with Russia or not. It's irrelevant.

Russia is not, in fact, a military threat to the West, but we still spend money as though we were in the height of the Cold War and facing the Soviet Union.

Whatever it takes to end that state of affairs is ultimately acceptable to me.

I couldn't agree more.

The thing is there are a LOT of people and unions in this country that make a LOT of money from the Military Industrial Complex, and without a crisis or two every year,a lot of union jobs are going to go bye bye,and a lot of Bankers are going to lose money.

Who was the genius that first said "Never let a good crisis go to waste!"?

The funny thing is that there ARE two threats that CAN justify maintaining as huge a military as we have: (1) China, and (2) Border security/the drug war.

I would prefer to save the money, but if we have to spend it for domestic political reasons then I at least want to orient it towards ACTUAL THREATS, which Russia is not.

China isn't really a military threat either, but the naval and air forces necessary to contain China's maritime ambitions are sufficiently massive to justify all of the military-industrial pork anybody could hope for. Sheer bodies and troops ever in the field are what is needed on the Mexican border. Forget bricks and mortar: a living wall of military lets us keep a big army, lots of gear, forces always deployed, but DOING SOMETHING.

Russia's economy is smaller than France's, and European NATO has France, Germany, the UK and Italy in it, plus gobs of other countries. And the population of Europe dwarfs Russia.

Russia has nukes, which protect Russia from being invaded, but give them no ability to conquer.

Building up vast forces oriented to fighting an enemy that isn't even THERE, while real threats go ignored, is just bone stupid.

Of course, the real threats don't really justify the huge expenditures either, but if we're GOING to have the expenditures, let's at least have a secure border and really contain our chief trade rival.
