I don't need a dictionary to understand that people who have committed crimes in the US are illegible to apply for a visa,Green Card,or US citizenship,and that the ONLY way around this is to either give them amnesty or to change the law and make the change retroactive. Which amounts to the same thing. Get McLunatic or Palin to explain this to you.

No,and I have never claimed it is. What it IS,is a basic requirement. If anmesty isn't granted for the crime they have already committed by being here illegally,none of the rest of it is possible. The "path" is blocked. How much further does this need to be dumbed down before you can understand it?
