Bang / Guns Title: Paintball and Airsoft as Legal Ways of Militia Training Paintball and Airsoft as Legal Ways of Militia Training By Coral Snake An important part of becoming a free states populace becoming the well regulated militia mentioned in the second amendment is pretty much the same as in any military body, drilling and combat training. However even many states that allow forearms ownership unconstitutionally prohibit such training by civilian bodies. However there IS a way of having militia style training legally in most states through legal combat gaming also known by the guns and projectiles such games use, Paintball and Airsoft. Most people that are interested in guns, militaria, real life combat games and video games and the like has probably heard of Paintball. For those who do not Paintball is a game of capture the flag where team members are taken out of the game by being shot with a marker (actually an airgun that shoots a compressed ball of paint covered with plastic). Paintball is one way of having realistic militia training in arias where the use of genuine military like firearms is prohibited for such use but there is an even better way and in a way we can actually think strict gun control laws in foreign nations for it. Even though propaganda in strict gun law nations like those in Asia (particularly Japan) and Europe (particularly the United Kingdom) shows a hatred for guns and their owners on the part of their populace that hatred is no more true than it is for the USA or Switzerland. Just as many people in these strict gun law nations want to own guns, target shoot and play combat games as Americans do. Therefore the states of these nations manipulate their strict laws to accommodate their gun culture populations without allowing actual firearms to be collected and used by regular citizens. The end result of this is the worldwide combat sport called Airsoft. Airsoft is a combat sport using plastic or mini paintball BBs fired through remarkably realistic guns called Airsoft guns. (these low powered airguns are so realistic that our federal Government and many moderately anti-gun state governments required them to be sold with an orange tipped business end to distinguish them readily from their firearm or real steel counterparts. Airsoft guns basically come in three types. The first type is the spring piston type which basically works like any spring piston airgun only at a lower power level that makes safe combat gaming possible when a persons face and body are properly armored. This type is the most popular for Airsoft revolvers when used in combat gaming precisely because of the need to cock the gun between shots which makes semi auto and full auto replicas impractical for games. The second type is the gas Airsoft gun which propels the BB or mini paintball by expansion of propane (often mixed with silicon oil and called green gas) or CO2 stored in the magazine (semi or full automatic types or in the stock of the gun (revolvers and manual action rifles). Gas air soft guns are very realistic in their pistol form even duplicating the slide blow back function of their real steel counterparts. These are the best substitutes available for indoor target practice or pistol based combat games. However be warned good quality blow back gas air soft pistols can cost as much as their firearm or real steel counterparts when the latter are purchased in the used gun market. The top of the Airsoft hierarchy is the electric piston Airsoft guns. These are available as cheap pistols that run on triple A batteries or as the king of all Airsoft guns the Automatic Electric Gun or AEG for short. No matter what type they are however cheap pistol or expensive AEG Rifle these guns basically shoot full or semi automatically by the means of a piston driven by an electric motor or solenoid rather than by a spring. These are the types of Airsoft guns most often used in Combat gaming because of their selective fire capability and their duplication of current combat arms like AK, M-16 and other assault rifles. The cheap pistols and some of the AEG rifles also use their motors to duplicate the blowback functions of their bolts or slides. However this degree of realism is not common in AEG rifles yet. Once again the basic Combat game with airsoft guns is the capture the flag scenario familiar to those who have been in the Boy Scouts or similar organizations which see this type of game without arms as a good means for the physical development of their charges. However Airsoft allows for more scenarios like sniper, spy/reconnaissance and other military/airsoft specialties to be added to the basic Capture the Flag game because Airsoft counterparts of the specialized guns needed for such actions exist. These scenarios are NOT possible with Paintball because the guns used in Paintball are hyper specialized for the basic Capture the Flag paintball game alone without any other military/combat scenarios being added to it. The reason form this little article on the subject of airsoft guns is that I believe that patriots will have to start Combat training themselves again if they expect to be compent protectors of our Constitutional and God given rights to own REAL guns, and that training will have to be of a realistic nature. Of all systems out there legal Airsoft games currently provide the best training currently available for civilians. So think about directing some of your gun money toward some Airsoft AEGs and AEPs (on many internet sites AEPs are actually cheaper than the spring guns) and get youself involved in this game which is the only legal form of malitia training available in many states.

Every time I get pulled over by the cops. They say So your in the militia huh. Seems some govt city inspector asshole put that in their database. I am seriously considering suing them. Since they also sent out flyers to cops nationwide saying militia members are terrorists. I am not in no militia. I don't care if people are they have a right to. But I am not and never have been. Think I have a case?
