Partnerships in WHAT? The rule of men? The Rule of Law? Anarchy? What constitutes - "The Republic", and for what purpose?
A republick = A pile of People that understand and strengthen a worthy common cause = thesis.
Contracts are carved into stone, more authoritarian. Partnerships are more voluntary on an ongoing basis, more liberty. Libertarian Republic, for the win. We had it for a while, but let it slip away. Sold down the river into slavery by Abe Lincoln's, Log Cabin Republicans GOP. Cracka Donnell, the Federal Plantation
Stick with Aristotle. Plato and Socrates just aren't as good as The Philosopher.
Stick with de Tocqueville and La Rochefoucauld - the former understood the essence of our form of government, and nobody ever wrote perceptively about the true ways of the human heart than the latter.
Be nice if Fearless Leader and the Golf Hat brigade could answer the question. Just sayin'.
