International News Title: 'GET A GRIP' Moped crime epidemic, weekly stabbings and housing failures: Tory report reveals the true cost of London’s two years under Sadiq Khan The Mayor's half term report doesn't look good in a new analysis - as London's crime wave continues to take lives SADIQ Khan's two years in office has cost Londoners dearly with broken promises, a spiralling crime wave and higher taxes, a new report claims. The 'Cost of Khan' dossier, compiled by leader of the Tories in the London Assembly, says Mr Khan isn't delivering for the capital. Its author, Gareth Bacon AM, said the Mayor had spent too long pumping out his self-congratulatory propaganda, and urged him to "get a grip" during the second half of his four year term in office. He told The Sun: "Its been two years since London voted in Sadiq Khan as London Mayor and what has he done for the city since then? "There have been lots of red carpet appearances, lots of anti-Brexit posturing and his office has pumped out huge amounts of self-congratulatory propaganda. "But his record does not measure up: he is failing to deliver the homes we need, his planning policies amount to a declaration of war on the suburbs, he has blown a massive hole in Transport for Londons finances, violent crime is soaring and he has lost control of the streets. This is not a record to be proud of." The Mayor insisted that keeping Londoner's safe would be his top priority, but on his watch violent crime has spiked. Already so far this year there have been 66 horrific murders in the capital, and earlier this week a BABY was left fighting for its life. Moped crime has spiked six-fold and even comedian Michael McIntyre was subjected to thugs who nicked his watch in front of his young son in North London. And a new terrifying spate of acid attacks has been seen too. Mr Khan suggests police cuts are to blame - but the report points out policing numbers are similar to in 2013 under Boris Johnson, where such crimes weren't as frequent. Labour claims even the Home Office's own reports say there's a link between policing cuts and crime. The Mayor says he's launched a new violent crime taskforce, and argues the Met have £110m more cash and extra stop and search powers. And he boasts a new fund to help steer young people away from crime. But the Metropolitan Police force is still the highest funded force in England - and the crime numbers are still on the up. "His argument simply does not stack up," the report said. Shaun Bailey AM added: Before people had confidence walking home in the dark, knowing it was unlikely they would get mugged. "Sadiq Khans response to growing crime in London has been shocking and shows little understanding of the root causes. "Its time he got a grip and focused on organised crime which is driving up crime in general He needs to support the police in taking a tougher approach." Despite claims by the Government they are getting tougher on knife possession the number of stabbings in London has rocketed this year. London has seen a terrifying rise in violent crime with sixty moped gang attacks a day and a higher murder rate than New York.Shocking statistics show how the police have lost control of large parts of the capital, with ultra- violent youths running riot. The easy availability of knives and acid, and the speed and manoeuvrability of scooters, has combined to see London gang warfare reach terrifying new levels. The most recent official figures recorded 19,385 moped crimes in just nine months - a rate of around sixty a day. This is a 1,000 per cent rise in just three years. As well as moped gang attacks, the capital has also seen a sharp rise in the number of stabbings and shootings. The new Met Police statistics showed a five per cent rise in violent crime in the past year.Statistics showed 35 youth homicides in the last 12 months, which was up 25 per cent, a surge in the rate of muggings of 30 per cent, and an 18 per cent rise in knife crime offences.Since the turn of the year more than 60 people have been murdered on the streets of London. Not building enough of the homes we need Housing is the number one issue for young people today, polling has shown 8 Housing is the number one issue for young people today, polling has shown All politicians seem to talk about these days are houses and Brexit - but Britain does desperately need more homes. The London Mayor in his manifesto said the capital needed at least 50,000 more per year to meet demand, and promised to make it a priority. He later claimed it needed more than 66,000 to cope, accusing property developers of constructing "too many luxury penthouses" that no one can afford. He promised a target for 50 per cent of homes to be affordable too - and tore up Boris Johnson's previous "dodgy definition" of what is affordable. Ministers awarded London around £5billion for extra cash for affordable homes, but in the first year of his mayoralty only 8,900 were built, and in his second year, 12,000, the report claims. Planning starts were approved for 55,400 homes - so many homes will soon be on the way - but we're still some way off meeting his own targets. Local authorities also have to sign off new plans too, and many people aren't keen to green light more homes in their own back gardens. "Khan will have to significantly accelerate his housebuilding programme if he is to build the homes Londoners need," the dossier warns. The Mayor also promised to give Londoners first dibs on homes - a good idea which would mean overseas buyers can't snap up our much-needed homes - but the agreement is only a voluntary one and doesn't bind owners to it. Labour claimed the Mayor was on track to meet his targets for housing in the years to come - and would deliver 116,000 affordable homes by March 2022. WOW! WHO could have seen THAT coming?????? London has seen a terrifying rise in violent crime with sixty moped gang attacks a day and a higher murder rate than New York.Shocking statistics show how the police have lost control of large parts of the capital, with ultra- violent youths running riot. The easy availability of knives and acid, and the speed and manoeuvrability of scooters, has combined to see London gang warfare reach terrifying new levels. It's all those racist anti-Muslim white people to blame for this! If they quit reporting attacks and robberies against them, the crime rate would plummet!
In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
Mooslums (pigpiss be upon them). It's what they do.
How may civilian concealed carry permits has London issued? Zero, because they're illegal. And what about the 19,385 moped crimes in just nine months? Aren't they illegal, too? Now, how many moped crimes do we have in U.S. cities? Zero. Do we issue concealed carry permits? Yes we do. Can we hit moving targets? Bet your your ass, and it's more fun. Do you sense a pattern here?
Think of the 2,500 German women who were molested on New Years in only one German city. The press covered it up!
Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.
I have no problem putting down rabid animals.
